Background

Minhyun was born in Melbourne, Victoria in Australia. She is the second child of her family of 5. Minhyun has been bullied ever since she started school all the way up until grade 5 because she was too nice and a easy target. She was diagnosed with a genetic disease called Cystic Fibrosis that greatly affects her lungs if she doesn't take care of them, she also has ADHD and Short Term Memory Loss but the only things she doesn't have trouble remembering is song lyrics. A few years after the bullying started she went through severe depression, and also she gain multiple personaltites their names were Alex and Alice. When she was 11 years old her depression started fading away because she has finally found something she loved more than anything, K-pop. She loved k-pop especially when the girls group Girl'sGeneration debut, all she wanted to be was her ultimate idol Kim TaeYeon leader of snsd, so Minhyun started taking dancing lessons and joined the school choir. Then when Minhyun was 13 her father moved the family to his parents country South Korea, because his work moved him there.

Personality

Minhyun is a stubborn and strong girl who isn't afraid of a challenge.She can also be extremely lazy at times, unless it's a serious matter. She is sweet and kind at times but she likes to keep real self hidden behind a wall. She can be a bubbly person that always brings the mood up. She is a mysterious and curious person who loves exploring things that can be explored. She is very talkative and hyper due to her ADHD which she doesn't tell anyone about except the managers, but they keep it a secret for her, they also do the same with her CF because she thinks it's her weak point. On her free time she is either up in tall trees reading manga or playing video games, she loves baking as well and is a blackbelt in TaeKwonDo. She loves watching Horror movies and Anime. She is extremely innocent minded. Even though she is short for her age she is very athletic and strong. She has insomnia, but even with 2hrs sleep she still is hyper the next day. She also has a massive sweet tooth. Minhyun is like the leaders second in command, she is strict when it comes to practicing but at the same time she is also the fun and loving one that will always have something fun to do with the members. Though there are secrets she keeps from all of them, she hopes they also never find out about her CF and ADHD. She always says for advice 'You may know one for what they tell you. But how well do you really know them?' Minhyun has been hidden behind a wall for so long she can't cry... The last time she cried or teared up was 3 years ago when her brother died. She also has a death stare, and if you see her death staring someone you only know it spells trouble.

Family Background

Her family is a rich family and is going through some problems when all of a sudden the family finds out that their yougest daughter needs a heart transplant... Yet another secret she has to keep from everyone. Her family consists of 1 older sister, and 2 younger siblings one of which died from a snake bite while they were camping. Minhyuns english name is Maddie.

Park KwangMin-41-Deckhand(He works on boats)-Father-Minhyun loves her dad because they could play video games together and watch horror movies together. His english name is Kevin.

Park Sarah-41-Baker-Mother- Caroline is a famous Australian baker and is a former chef, Caroline was one of the top female chefs when she was younger. Seomin and her daughters love baking with eachother, they also enjoy handmaking toys for primary kids. She is not korean, her maiden name is Pyrah.

Park HyoJin-21-Primary School Teacher-Oldest Daughter- Hyojin still lives with the family to help her mother around the house and to also earn income to pay the rising bills even though they have lots of money Hyojin insists that earning more would help us incase of emergancy. Her english name is Hannah. Always helps Minhyun because Minhyun tends to get herself into trouble and their mother and father are usually busy.  (Thought it would be good to have an idea of what her sisters look like)

Park HweJi-15-Newspaper Deliverer-Youngest Daughter- Hweji wanted a job because she said she felt usless in the family and she wanted to help her mother as well, so her mother let her do a very simple job that paid and fair enough amount for a child her age. Her english name is Ann. She is abit on the rebellious side. 

Park MinGuk-10(would be 13 now)-Was a student-DeceasedBrother- Minguk was bitten by a red belly black snake while the family was camping. He was the closest family member to Minhyun, they used to do nearly everything together and when he died Minhyun cried for days.

How were you discovered?

Minhyun was coming home from her first day of school in Korea, while she was listening to music she was unaware that she was singing to it also, so while she was singing a manager from JYP Entertainement heard her and told her to audition so she did and a few weeks later she was accepted. Then after a year of training at JYP Ent they decided to move Mihyun to Woolim Ent.
