Background:
Jae Hwa was born and raised in Seoul. He lived in the affluent area of Apgujeong-dong, one of the most trendsetting areas in Seoul. His Father was from Joseon era old money and headed a few organizations that weren't completely leagal before going into politics like his older brother. It is rumored his family is conected to Kim Doo Han, one of the most noted South Korean gagsters who belonged to the Jumok gang back in the late 40's. They were a promanent family and lived in a secluded area surrounded by high walls. Jae Hwa even had a bodygaurd until his middle school years. He was trained in Martial Arts since he was four years old and has a flexible body.

His Mother was killed in an accident when he was twelve, but the police suspected gang activity for it and Jae Hwa has blamed his Father ever since, so they barely speak to each other. His Father had the reports burried so it wouldn't come back to haunt his son.
Jae Hwa speaks to the live in house keeper more than he does his own Father. He doesn't talk about his family to anyone.

Jae Hwa met a fellow aspiring artist on a variety show he auditioned for (but didn't get) by the name of Kim Donghyun. They became fast friends even though they are hyeong and dongsaeng. (Donghyun later went on to debut with the group Boyfriend). They even went to watch a Big Bang stage performance after school once and decided to become singers then. Jae Hwa had a struggle to get his Fatehr to let him do as he wished but finally he was allowed to take dance and singing lessons and he went out to auditions. He was rejected from SM and YG once before finally making it in a year later.

They are friends, almost sibling like in their interactions but there is an attraction there under it. They will be messing around and meet gazes and not realize they are staring at each other or she will smack himon the back of the head for something and he will grin like an idiot, whereas anyone else was to hit him they would be on the floor.

This is my life

Trainee Life: 3 almost 4 years in YG. At first he was rejected as a trainee and told to come back in a year. After improving, he re-auditioned and made it in rather quickly. He was able to blend in with the other trainees rather well and had a pretty easy time of it besides pushing himself more than the instructors even did. His hard work paid off in the end.
Predebut: Shot a CF for Yoheim and did some modeling work.
