It will probably effect this site, as well as sites like youtube, deviantart.com, and any other site that may contain copyrighted material. I hadn't heard of this bill until this morning, and only because my sister had found a journal about it on deviantart.com. To my knowledge, it wasn't on any of our local news channels. We Americans are supposed to be informed about changes in our laws, and many are just now finding out about it this so close to when it is supposed to be voted on? What is the government thinking?! Geez!  The whole puppymill thing had much more attention than this has!  (Although I think that was a Missouri thing, not the whole country).  >.<  I would suggest you google the thing if you find that a bit mind boggling, its a loooong document. There has been articles written about it, with both "fors" and "againsts."  I wouldn't be surprised that if this passes, that completely blocking foreign sites will be next. I just love our government (sarcasm intended).
