I was sitting at the park – waiting for my dad to pick me up. Suddenly, someone beside me –well, my friend, Jiyeon spoke,”Hey, Jieun! I have a idea!”

 

Hearing the word idea made me excited, a smile appeared in my face. I faced her and said,”And what is it?”

 

“You know Gangnam style, right? Let’s try it tomorrow!”

 

I had this strange expression in my face and the sound of car shocked me. I saw Jiyeon was standing up and running towards the car. The window of the car opened. Knowing it, I said to the person inside the car,”Hello, Mr. Park!”

 

“Hello, Jieun! Waiting for your dad?” he answered. I just nodded. Jiyeon said Goodbye then the car went.

 

Gangnam style? I thought while waiting for my dad.

I was standing in front of the gate of my school. I was wearing this looks-like-Psy’s clothes. Well, this is kinda cute and weird especially for a girl like me. But this was Gangnam Style, right? Entering the school, I found every eyes were on me. I knew this would happen. But it’s okay, isn’t it?

 

A hand touched my shoulder. I turned. There I saw my friend –Jiyeon. I noticed she is just wearing a usual clothes –well, maybe a trending clothes. Then my eyes went to her face, I saw her weird expression. I felt as if it was telling me, What are you doing?

 

Quickly, I grabbed her hands and pulled her to the park –again. “Hey, look! Gangnam style!” I said excitedly. She tried to speak,”Well.. It’s no–“

 

“Wait! There is something more!” I took my phone. Then the song ‘Gangnam Style’ by Psy was heard. I danced to the song and then Jiyeon laughed. I stopped and said,”What’s wrong?”

 

“The Gangnam style I mean is the style of people in Gangnam not about that song”

 

“What??!!”
