random summary of today

I usually don't write about my day, but today seems like one I can record.

This morning, I still had my fever. I looked so dead and sick. I felt light-headed and unfocused. I couldn't even concentrate that much in Japanese either.

However, during senior project (for those who don't know, senior project is a year-long project where you can job-shadow, start your own business, do community service, etc.) class, we had to present a small project we did over the week. My teacher has known me ever since freshmen year because of key club and she knows I'm very quiet. When I presented my little project, she said she was very proud of me. She told me that she could actually hear me from the back of the class and that I had that volume and pitch needed for the senior project presentation. The only part I need to work on is eye contact. orz That moment really touched me (geez, I'm really sensitive orz) because it's been quite rare that people other than my parents say that they're proud of me ;_;

And actually, my fever seemed to have gone down after that class. Towards the end of the day, I got a 102 on my pre-calculus (or technically an algebra/algebra2) exam. I'm ranked sixth out of the class (though there are other people ranked the same xD).

I think I've slowly grown more confident in presenting and in myself after today. or maybe since i have a fever, i forced myself to work harder than usual.

i should be working on the one shots this weekend... ;_; maybe i can work on it on wednesday since i finished my homework for that day. =w=

-starts working on rhetorical glossary entries- sighs
