HISTORY: When she was little she decided to play the violin. She has been practicing since she was eight, and wanted to be a prodigy. Although after watching a newly debuted group, Wonder Girls!, on the TV, she wanted to become a idol. She tried her best at singing and practiced a dance for auditioning at Pledis entertainment. Sadly, when she applied, they rejected her for not being good enough. Thinking she still had a chance, she applied at Pledis entertainment, and was accepted as a trainee at 14 years old.

When she met the group she was going to lead, it took her some time to actually hold a conversation with them. Eventually, she opened up and shes close to her members.
