Kpop vs Anime Fandom

Hello everyone.

I'm here to discuss the differences between the KPop and the anime fandom.

Now I have been into Anime since I was 4 years old, so I been into it for over an decade.

(I know what I am talking about)

Anime is something I loved and enjoyed for years, and even helped me in strange ways over the years. But what I hated was the fandom.

People were strange in bad ways; they fought (seriously) over pairings and who was a better artist, who was a hotter male character, which female character has bigger s, and just so many stupid things. It was so annoying and stupid.

Another thing I hated was how un-united we were.

Sure there is animecon but we went to OUR PANEL and others went to THEIRS. We talked to our artist and talked to our voice actors, and played our anime's videogame.

No one wanted to be joined or anything. We all hated each other sercetly. In our fanfictions, we judged the HELL out of everyone saying and pointing out the silliest things. Sure we do that in kpop but at least it is helpful. Anime fans just didn't like each other. I met a guy who liked One Piece more than YuGiOh and I wanted to punch him. See?

We stick to ourselves, and leave the world alone. Plus we don't grow with the anime and watch the characters grow unless it is a extremly good and long anime like FMA, NARUTO or YUGIOH. You are looking at the same characters,  hearing the same voices, and the same plot. Once someone leaves the anime fandom, no one cares unless you didn't finish a fanfiction. There is nothing to tie you down tothat anime besides your favorite scenes.

But kpop?

I love this new fandom I found thanks to my bestfriend.

Here you matter to people.

Here you find groups who you watch grow and watch them at the rise, peak, and sadly their downfall (DBSK keep the faith)

You can settle down to these groups of people, fans and artists alike and enjoy being with them.

You are constantly told you are loved and actually make a difference in this PERSON'S life.

The KPOP fandom is like a family; there are people who up, people who do dumb and creepy , and all inbetween.

But you are here to enjoy the music, the talented people, the y (wo)men, and the laughs they share with you.

The people in the kpop fandom are everything I ever wanted. People who care, love, laugh, and enjoy being around me.

We don't judge or anything.

And to me, when someone leaves the kpop fandom, I feel sadden that something happened to cause you to leave this family of ours.

I just say, "Close the door so it doesn't go into your room."

(Its a play name. It means just forget about all of the stupity and enjoy what you are here for.)

I see those crazy exo fans and just ignore it because I love EXO and their music and members, not those ridiculous fans.

They are NOT my problem and are NOT from sane part of the fandom. Plus, I am an international fan, so in their eyes, I am scum.

You got to move past some things before it drives you insane.

I was (retired) anime fan, and throughout my 11 years, I ignored the NARUTO, YUGIOH, SAILORMOON, BLEACH, HELLSING, and ONEPIECE wars and got over it. People are stupid but you aren't them. If I can survive all of those animes plus more (Kurosuji, Sakaichi Hatsukoi, Junjo Romantica)

You can get through fanwars.

Some K-Fans are messed up but you need to understand that.

Now to end this, I just have to say that the KPOP fandom has its ups and downs, but Anime never treated me this good.

I made so many friends and had so many good times that Anime can't compare.

I will miss watching AMVs (Animated. Music. Videos. )

I will miss the (even though there are ALOT of fights)

I will miss the fanfictions (Even through they are old and never going to be finished)

I will miss the characters, but I will never forger them.

Kpop is my home ♡
