bar bar bar + do you love me

i think im the only one that really doesn't like crayon pop's bar bar bar and 2ne1's do you love me, i swear.

bar bar bar I dislike this song with a burning passion. I'll admit it's catchy and different, but different isn't always good. This song isn't my style at all, since I usually prefer R&B and urban music genres. Even then, I'm pretty versatile with my music tastes; i love B.A.P.'s "One Shot," but i also love A-Pink's "No No No." I guess I have a thing against "hook-songs," which would actually explain my dislike for songs like SNSD's "Oh," or Super Junior's "Sorry Sorry." This song shows none of Crayon Pop's potential and talent, only that they can jump in sync. I prefer their other songs way more, like "Dancing Queen."

The vocals of the singers literally sounds like as if the children from Kidz Bop learned Korean, and the chorus as well as the refrain and even the bridge is just continuous chanting. Holy hell, the rap was just talking, and was even more painful to listen to than Yoona's rap in "I Got a Boy" (no offense, i love her either way). Okay that was a bit harsh but I'm pretty picky with my rap so exucse that. Anyways, every element of a song I can dislike...they had it.

do you love me Can I say that I was incredibly disappointed with 2NE1's comebacks as of late? "Falling in Love" didn't pull off the reggae nearly as well as "I Don't Care" or the reggae version of "Lonely" had, and please don't get me started with CL's "the Baddest Female." I personally blame it on the fact that YG's spreading himself way too thin, speaking of the fact that he's debuting and having everyone comeback in the measly time span of two months. Honestly, ever since "Gangnam Style"'s success, the man got his priorities messed up. Seriously.

Anyways, the song. "Falling in Love" is slowly growing onto me but i feel that this song never can. First of all, I feel Bom's vocals got weaker over the years. Her tone got a bit more nasally, and it sounds as if she's having a harder time belting notes. As of now, I think Minzy's the strongest singer. Anyways. The verses with Dara's vocals are way too soft to work with the fast electronic beat, which also sounds really empty to me for some reason. Then CL's rap in the refrain ("d-o y-o-u...") built up so much anticipation for the chorus, and then the chorus was a continuous chant of "do you love me."

and so, for the first time since I can comprehend music, SM is my favorite company. Yup, first time. I liked GOD more than HOT, FinkLmore than SES, SS501 more than DBSK, Big Bang more than Super Junior, Wonder Girls more than SNSD, U-KISS more than SHINee, etc. But this year SM has really impressed me.

It all starts from SHINee's Why So Serious album which really made me start liking them. Then EXO pulled XOXO out of their asses and that became the first idol album after Big Bang's Alive where i adored every single song. Then Henry's Trap came out and that was amazing, too. Then f(x) comes back with Pink Tape and Goodbye Summer is my jam. Then EXO comes back with Growl, and now i think all this is making up for my hate for "Love & Girls" by hundred-fold.

and now that I'm rereading this post I think I'm seriously hateful lol
