Tell Me About Yourself

Personality: Jang Hyo Rin is someone who enjoys socialising with others and making new friends. She has a good sense of humor, though her jokes may sometimes come off as awkward failures which can cause the mood to dampen (this only happens in stressful or serious moods because she gets awkward when everyone is in low spirits). Hyo Rin can someone that people find hard to take seriously due to her playful personality and childish pranks, often seen as the clown. Hyo Rin can also be someone who is persuasive as she has a way with her words and her way of talking. When persuading someone, she talks in a laid-back manner rather than a persuasive manner of trying to force your opinions on others. It is because of this that people are often swayed by her, as it appears as though she is not being biased and thus giving a fair opinion. 

Because Hyo Rin is good with people, she is known for being able to get information out of others easily. She uses different methods when attempting to do so, such as acting like she wouldn't understand so that people freely talk around her thinking that she's not going to understand a single thing they say, or charming them with her social skills. She is also someone who can't keep shut. Secrets rarely stay a secret with her. It's not that she would purposely share them around, but it's just that sometimes it just comes out of unintentionally when talking (eg. if she knows her friend likes a guy and if she is talking to him, she would accidently let out that her friend likes him). However, if it is a big enough secret, she would not let it out, though this is hard for her. One of the main reasons why she finds it hard to keep a secret is because she is honest and blunt. She doesn't like liars, and hates lying herself. She doesn't hesitate to state her opinion, and while this may come off as rude, there are those who appreciate her for it. This is why people tend to look to her for opinions and advice as she is not afraid to tell it as it is and has a good perception of people and their actions due to her highly social life. 

Because she is not as smart as her brother and sister, she didn't attend university, having failed her college entrance exam. She was given permission by her parents to start working as they often spoilt her, wanting to give her everything she wanted, and Hyo Rin had begged them to let her work on her own. However, with only a high school graduate as her education on her CV, she landed a job as a supermarket cashier and a part time dog walker, both of which she enjoys. 

 

History/Background: Hyo Rin grew up in a wealthy family, but unlike her smart older siblings, she was quite the slacker. She was, in short, lazy. Nothing regarding her power happened until she was 15 when she discovered her elemental power. She was having a fight (which is very rare) with one of her school mates and she got so angry that she unintentionally stopped air from flowing in the girl she was having a fight with, causing her to stop breathing. As she watched her struggle to breath, her anger turned into shock at the sudden turn of events as it appeared as though the girl just suddenly had an asthma attack or something of the sort. This change in emotions allowed air to start flowing again and the girl passed out and was sent to the infirmary. Hyo Rin didn't know it was her own doing at the time. Later in the year, she had another fight and the same thing happened, but this time with another girl. Hyo Rin started to think that it might have been her own doing, but didn't really pay much attention to it. When she was 17, she found out about her invisibility powers when she received a replica robe of the invisibility cloak in Harry Potter from her parents as a birthday gift as she was a huge fan. Ecstatic, she tried on the robe in her room, and of course, she didn't go invisible. However, when she took of the robe, she found her body gone, with only her head visible. She started to panic, and when she shut her eyes and opened them again, her body was fully visible. She decided to sleep, thinking it was just her imagination, but when she woke up, she found her body missing again as she dreamt about the encounter. She then started practicing her invisibility skill until she was able to fully control it, and now, uses it to pull pranks on others. Her air ability was discovered later when she was 18. She was out on a hot day, and she thought to herself how nice it would be to have wind, and suddenly, a windy storm started, shocking her. As it got too windy, she said to herself how nice it would be if the wind calmed down, and it did. She kept on switching her thinking that day to see if it was really controlled by her, and each time without fail, the wind would change accodingly. She started practicing her skill since then.

Love Interest: Yoo Youngjae

How did you meet: She met him when he was buying groceries at the supermarket that she worked at. He sensed that she was a guardian, but didn't say anything. They later met again when she was walking dogs, and one of the dogs got free of the leash and ran away. Hyo Rin chased after the dog with the other dogs still with her on their leash, making her a little slow. When she caught up to the dog, Youngjae was with it and Hyo Rin recognized him because she thought he was the best looking customer she had ever served. They chatted then. 

How do you act around him: She constantly bugs him with questions as she has a hard time understanding about who B.A.P are and what it meant to be a guardian and how things worked. This gets on his nerve sometimes, but he doesn't mind because she always tells him jokes which lightens his mood. She liked him at first sight due to his looks, but not to the level where she is in love with him yet. She just thinks he's very attractive.

1. When Youngjae gets angry/annoyed because she kept on asking questions and she shuts up, making him feel guilty. 

2. After she stopped asking him questions, she goes to Yongguk for answers and Youngjae gets a little jealous and feels a little lonely because she stopped asking him stuff so he tells her to ask him instead because she's his guardian and not Yongguk so stop bothering Yongguk (in a very jealous manner but he tried to put it off as him doing his job and not wanting her to trouble others)

3. A scene where everyone is serious/sad and she makes a bad joke so others get angry at her and she sulks to herself and Youngjae comes and comforts her, telling her it's just because they are upset and took out their anger at her and not to take it too seriously
