*sigh* Sincerely now, I do not understand why is the Universe against me and having a pleasant, completely nice evening, especially that my parents aren't home and I can enjoy some freedom and loud music TT.TT

So, for you to understand everything, I should probably mention that I have a farm and we raise all kinds of animals, especially chickens and ducks. And last time when I was all alone at home, I released one of my dogs and early in the morning, he opened the coop and killed one of the roosters we had raised for competition. Nice, really nice, what can I say TT^TT

Now, back to today. I'm all alone at home once again. And there I was, feeding the chickens. I walked out of the their yard because I have a violent rooster that attacks (he bites and it to be bitten by him, trust me! my mom experienced it three times) and I was playing with the cats, a fence away from where the chickens where eating when they start making a fuss all of a sudden. Hearing noises coming from inside the coop, I thought that maybe a polecat attacked one of them and I went to see what exactly was in there. That's when I saw him: a huge hawk, with golden eyes, nipping the head of a chicken TT.TT

I swear that my reaction was the best: I closed the coop with a second, hard wooden door, trapping it inside and ran like Hell was on Earth to call my mom. But she didn't bother to answer and I had to call my uncle who said something like "And? Why didn't you go in to catch it?". For real?! O.o For freakin' real?! It's a predator! A wild bird!

Sincerely now, what exactly were the odds of a hawk attacking MY chickens, when there were a lot of others in the yards close by? O.O

I was thinking of naming him 'Pancake'. Dear fireflies, meet Pancake the Second :))
