what is your specialty?: Besides the skills that every reaper has, e.g teleportation or the ability to grant wishes, Hyun Soo's skills are: Sensing. He has the power to sense and detect the presence of others no matter where they are. Time Manipulation. Hyun Soo is able to slow down and stop time (for a limited time and range) to others while he is able to move freely. This power works on almost all objects and beings, except certain reapers. ~~~ He is also good at combat, but I guess that's due to his temper.

what is your weakness: Even though Hyun Soo is not the most emotional being, he has a temper. He is rational and mature, but sometimes the responsibility takes its toll on him and he can get really pissed so to speak. ~~~ But his greatest weakness is his brother. His most precious memory. If he ever lost his brother, the memory of him, Hyun Soo would kill himself. That is why he charges his friend to kill him if it happens and he could not do it himself. ~~~ But who knows if there is anything else that is or becomes his Achilles' heel?

THE RATIONAL MIND
              1. why do you hate the council?
Hyun Soo was considered a top reaper, very good at his job, consequent and never showing any kind of emotions. Surprisingly he is one of the most responsible Last Wishes Inc. "employees". How come? He has escorted countless souls in service of the Reaper Council. He has seen all kinds of fates. But time has changed. There is more violence and and hate in today's world than in the world a few hundred years ago. Humans are more stressed than ever, suffering burn out and collapsing physically or mentally. The suicide rate is higher than ever. And one reason are the "Shinigami". That are those reaper who go with the flow. They use the weaknesses of the humans to possess them and make them want to die. They are the favorites of the Reaper Council due to their high "turnover". But Hyun Soo detests them. He sees no reason, why humans should die before their time comes. He is against this new "policy" and that was the reason he started to hate the council. Added to this the Council makes sure the reapers that are living on earth among the humans know where they belong to. And they make this clearly visible. If you don't obey, they will punish you hard. And that means Leo was also in danger.

              2. despite being a reaper, why is the death of young people so hard for you to face?
Unlike the Newcomer, Hyun Soo does not hate humans. He knows they have their flaws and are far from being perfect, but he appreciates life and believes that they deserve living, at least some of them. But it is not hard for him to face the death of them. He sees death as a part of life itself. But seeing young people die, in the prime of their lives, who barely began to reach their potential, kind of "irritated" him.

              3. why did you rebel?
He did not want to become a "Shinigami". But he did not want to rebel, as well. So he was on the horns of a dilemma. He knew it was stupid to mess with the Council, he wasn't even powerful enough. But when Hyun Soo had to watch another human commiting suicide, because it was possessed by a reaper, he snapped. It could be that this human was only another drop in the ocean, or maybe this person was more than this?

              4. why did you found Last Wishes Inc.? Why do you grant the wishes knowing it's illegal?
Ravi, who was against the Reaper Council way before Hyun Soo, was the conncection to Last Wishes Inc. founder, the Leader. In the beginning it was the stupidest thing what they did at Last Wishes Inc.. Not just that it was illegal, but also fly in the face of reason. And that is anything but rational to Hyun Soo. But he found out that the granting thing came with the chance to consume the soul's of the persons. And that meant power. Sooner or later there would be a chance to change the system when the rebellion becomes strong enough. But also, those "diamond souls" attracts greedy reapers and so the rebels need to be cautious and careful whom they trust.
             

background: Hyun Soo was the ideal grim reaper; obedient, efficient, merciless. But as time went by, the reapers changed. What humans call "Shinigami", are a new kind of grim reapers. They are able to possess humans and make them want to commit suicide. They are not letting the humans die a natural death and are rather stemming the tide. So they became the symbol of the new millenium. Hyun Soo hates them all and operated against the shinigami. After a contretempts with a shinigami, who got killed therefore by Hyun Soo himself, Hyun Soo started to rebel against the new favorites of the Council, and the Reaper Council itself. Thanks to his best friend, Hyun Soo found out about Last Wishes Inc. and eventually joined the odd yet mysterious company. But he knew he would endanger his brother and so he told a friend of him to take care of him instead, and keep him away from Hyun Soo and the rebellion. Hyun Soo soon picked his "favorite kind of targets" - terminally ill. With rational reasons, or not?!

That Hyun Soo owns a nightclub has a rational reason, a purpose. The nightclub is the meeting place of Last Wishes Inc. In back-room meetings they can talk about their "company" and the rebellion without being interrupted by other grim reapers. The club is set in a "neutral zone". A place where shinigami are not allowed to "hunt" for souls. There is no such thing as a neutral zone actually, the shinigami have their "zones", where the rebels should never dare to look for a target that could be claimed by a shinigami. In the beginning the Council was fearing the rebels and told its soldiers to fight them by all available means. But soon they thought that this was not necessary, since they did not consider the rebellion to be a threat to it and that the rebels would checkmate themselves by granting wishes and becoming empty bit by bit. So the shinigamis and other reapers put up with the rebels and let them be, that means as long es none of them tries to operate in one of their territories.

What is special about Zero is that he can "feel" if a person is going to die, just like a reaper can see the person's aura then. This one is a real wacko. An odd shinigami with not really visible intentions. Min Ki is really into life on earth and has a thing for humans. Especially the attractive ones. Hyun Soo could not think of someone as free-spiritet as Min Ki. No one knows what is going on in his head. He is a dreamer and a crazy spirit who finds his freedom in music. But don't underestimate this guy. He is as crazy as handsome and a very skilled fighter. And who knows what he's up to next? But even if he has those fun traits, he is not really predictable. Even when he is smiling, his eyes look sad. And his obsession with Hyun Soo is more than dangerous for the Terminally Ill, or isn't it? | He knows a lot about Hyun Soo. He stalks him, too, what he usually calls "looking after". He is somewhat of a friend after all, since Min Ki never betrayed Hyun Soo, possessed any of Hyun Soo's targets or anything else that could endanger him. Min Ki is obsessed with Hyun Soo and wants him to come back "home" more than anything else. He does not support Hyun Soo's "rebellious friends" and cannot understand why he sacrifices something for them and the humans. When Hyun Soo met the Terminally Ill, Min Ki's obsession reached another level. Therefore Hyun Soo doesn't want the Terminally Ill to come close to Min Ki, ask or even think about him. Min Ki will cause some drama between Hyun Soo and the Terminally Ill. | Skill: Seducing. Not that there's a need due to his natural beauty and charm, but Min Ki can emit pheromones that no man or woman, mortal or otherwise, can resist. They'd suddenly be overwhelmed with desire for him. The pheromones make people susceptible to mind control around him. So he can make them want to commit suicide as well, and does not need to "possess" a human therefore. Although a really strong-minded reaper could resist him for some time (Min Ki is patient). Poisoning. He also has the ability to secrete poison from his touch, willingly. Often these toxins are secreted from his lips and administered in his preferred way, a poisonous kiss. They come in a number of varieties, from mind-controlling drugs to instantly fatal toxins. E.g one single kiss is sufficient to make virtually anyone a slave to his will for about a week. They say his first kiss is poison, the second its antidote. Unfortunately (for him) his skill has a limit. Finally Min Ki is immune to all toxins, bacteria, and viruses. | alive

Who does he get along best with?:  The Leader. Hyun Soo is usually facepalming himself when he sees his "Leader" forgetting or ignoring his responsibility once again. His attitude is a thorn in Hyun Soo's flesh and he would like to hammer some rationality, common sense and responsibility into the Leader. But the Leader founded Last Wishes Inc. after all. He has a strong hatred for the Reaper Council just like Hyun Soo and at least in that they are reliable fellows in misery. Also, he never interferes in Hyun Soo's businesses.
Who does he not get along with?: Even though he does not trust the Neutral One at all, the one he seems to not get along with most likely is the Newcomer. The Newcomer is constantly causing trouble for Hyun Soo, since the Leader does not really look after the Newcomer and so the sole responsibility is usually passed to Hyun Soo. And I guess there's no need to tell you that Hyun Soo neither wants to take care of a troublemaker like the Newcomer, because of his own duties, nor does he think the Newcomer is able to handle his job. Nevertheless, Hyun Soo's nature does not allow him to ignore him and that is why he will still look after the Newcomer, like a hyung would look after his annoying little dongsaeng, even if he's a pain in the . And when it comes to the Terminally Ill, Hyung Soo will not hesitate to do whatever it takes to make sure the Newcomer is not coming near him.
