Biases, Respect, and Looks (This is a rant, OTL)

Hello and welcome to my first blog post!

I'm just gonna start with.. a rant. Here we go.

...

How do I start this, eh..

Sorry for my awkwardness?

Anyway, so I've been having many kpop friends and I like it so far. But for one problem is their biasness(whut?)for the looks. Yeah I know they're idols, they're supposed to look good and sparkle and stuff. But have you ever think that their company accepted them mainly to make them sing and dance? And while I do tend to enjoy their appearances mostly(major Donghae biased here), I also appreciate what they've got and those who has helped them reach this far. Don't go all "I don't like him because he's ugly," or "She has too much make up, she's not cute so I don't like her eww."

Have you ever thought that they've gotten into their respective companies because of something? And has it crossed your mind that that something is talent? Hello, it's their music that you've been listening to in your playlist everyday. Not their looks.

Also, justifying my second point--those who has helped our biases to reach this far. If your bias is in a group, don't you think that you should respect the other members even if they're not as 'oh-so-goodlooking' as your bias? I'm not saying that you should like all of them(although if you want to, feel free to love them all) but I'm just saying that your bias-whoever they are-might still be unknown to the idol world if it wasn't because of the other members, company, producers, dancers, managers, heck even coordi noonas!

All I'm saying is that you guys should respect those who has worked with your oppas/eonnis all this time. At least say thank you for them, don't go bail and go "I don't care, they're not my number one oppas/unnis."

Lastly, I'm not saying that I know how to be 'the perfect fangirl/boy' or what ever. It's the matter of manners and who knows, maybe you're hurting other fans with your "I don't care about him/her" words? Have you ever thought about that?

For you fans who've been respecting other members beside your biases, I say thankyou. Salute.
