Rae Jin is extremely bubbly around everyone she meets, instantly being over dramatic about everything she does and trying to gain attention. 

She gets distracted easily, has a short temper and like her brother a 4D personality with a smile that can light up the darkest day. 

Around her family she is respective and tries to stay calm for her families sake but this usually ends in her bouncing off the walls. Around her group members she is fun and tries to set the mood and be funny. If someone doesn't laugh or scolds her for her crude jokes she becomes easily offended but eventially laughs it off. 

Rae Jin is horrible at keeping secrets and can't keep shut or stay still for more than 5 minutes and she fidgets 24/7. If she wants something she'll use aegyo to get it and she leaves an amazingly adorable first impression. 

towards other Trainees she is kind and talks to them, incouraging them to keep working hard like she did to become an idol. She will often eat with them rather than with the rest of Exonyeo. Not because the other members are rude but just because she feels the other Trainees often get put down especially internation trainees. 

To her seniors like Super Junior, SNSD and TVXQ she is respectful and asks for advice often. She is often seen with Kyuhyun and Changmin because the three have quite cheeky personalities. She doesn't get on with Krystal very well but they don't hate each other. 

Rae Jin is blunt and honest. If she doesn't get something she wants she will either use aegyo or black mail to get it. She hates to be ignored because that is what happened a lot in her teenage years. So she tends to show off to get attention and is labeled an attention seeker. 

She is sensitive on the inside and criticism gets to her easily. She tends to spend a whole week holding in all her doughts and tears but eventually breaks and can no longer hold in the tears. Her personality can be very bipolar at times. 

Often her short temper gets the best of her. In early high school she lashed out at one of her 'friends' yelling abuse and cussing at her until she broke down and self harmed minorly. She also had suicidal thoughts between the ages of 13 and 15. But she has now recovered from her depressive stage in her life.

Before joining SM ENTERTAINMENT Rae Jin spent most of her time goofing off in class, getting in trouble and making a fool out of herself. Not like anyone minded a little laugh on a boring day. If she hadn't become a singer she would have loved to become a comedian and that was the path she was planning to take until a representitive from SM ENTERTAINMENT scouted her. (Like what happened to Sehun)

She spends the majority of her time with her elder brother Dongwoo despite already having another two elder sisters. Dongwoo and Rae Jin have very similar personalities so they get along very well and neither is seen without the other. Rae Jin's two older sisters are twins so prefer to spend time together just the two of them this causing Rae Jin to feel excluded. Her parents are often away at work so as a child Dongwoo often took care of her and even after he was in infinite he still took her to each one of his practices and shows. 

When she was 12 years old she was practicing her rapping while shopping with some friends she was over heard by a representitive from SM ENTERTAINMENT who suggested she come audition to be a trainee at the company. Though originally reluctant she eventually with some persuation from her overly excited friends she agreed and attented an audition which she was successful and trained for 4 years before joining Exonyeo.

Lay like Rae Jin is very bipolar in his personality on stage and off stage. His on stage personality is y, aluring, yet still friendly however off stage he is very bubbly, cute and clumsy. He's the kind of person where if he trusts you he'll tell you anything and often this is his weak point and where he built his walls up because he trusts too easily. He has feelings for Rae Jin as does she for him and they are very obvious but due to their careers neither is willing to make a move in fear the other will lose their job to stay in the relationship. They seem to be going in circles just trying to meet in the middle and settle things for good. 

Lay is close with all members of exo but he is especially close with Kai as they are both the main dancers of the group. Kai helps him when he needs assitance or advice in dancing and his love life and he always goes to Kai about Rae Jin as he finds himself falling head over heals for her.

When Myungsoo finally confesses he knows it's too late as Rae Jin is in love with Lay more then she cares to admit. The two already agreeing to be each others made of honour and best man when it comes to their weddings when they are older.
