personality:
cindy likes to believe that what she lacks in face and physical appeal, she makes up for with her personality and wit. she stays true to what she believes in, and never loses track of who she is as a person. if anything goes against her core values, she'll be quick to fight back with ten times the power. of course, no real fighting is ever involved. cindy isn't for physical violence, and becomes uncomfortable in any situation in which a brawl feels like it may ensue. she'd end up doing her best to solve the problem.
generally speaking, however, cindy is the relaxed and fun-loving type of girl who's quick to make jokes and lighten up the mood of her surrounding enviroment. she's a people person, caring for all of those around her and she's also very adaptable to any change life tosses her way. she doesn't like to be called motherly, however, since she thinks it makes her sound really mature (in the bad way). many who truly know her would state she's unbelievably modest and doesn't like to flaunt things, and cindy is quick to say because she thinks it unfair. this is a contradiction with her strong realism. cindy is well aware that life is anything but fair. daydreaming and hoping your wishes will come true without putting forth effort are things the girl can't even believe to be true in the slightest. laziness is not something you'll find in her character despite her often relaxed face, and the idea of people being lazy burns her up.
cindy also has a strong sense of righteousness that can often come off as straight-forward and stubborn, but if she is to believe someone is doing something wrong or unjust, she will personally tell them such. this gives her a bit of conflict; she doesn't like having to confront people but worries for their well-being as a whole. her emotions tend to get the best of her at times, and sometimes what she may say or do are incredibly impulsive. if she were to be described in a few words, the words would be: well-rounded, personable and driven.
background:
family and background infomation is never something cindy talks about in great detail. it is not because she has no family, nor is it that she hates her parents - it's because her childhood was made up of traveling back and forth from south korea to the states as her parents divorced before she was born, and how she's inbetween two completely worlds because of it.
both of her parents had citizenship in the united states as well of their native country of south korea, both were considerably successful in their choice of careers and so they were both well off when it came to finances. cindy was born an only child in incheon, her parents having been divorced for months by the time she was brought into the world and she grew up just thinking that's how families looked like. the girl was informed later on in her elementary years that her mother and father weren't married like everyone elses.
'adaptation' is a word she came to know well, with her constant moving back and forth between her parents until she was fifteen and decided she wanted to live with her father in seattle. the permanent move was refreshing, her life was stable and she was able to pursue her life as she pleased there. she doesn't have any hatred towards her mother, but cindy couldn't stand being caught in the middle of things.
seattle was a place where her talents flourished. many of the friends cindy made were musically inclined, and it was safe to say that cindy was soon to follow suit. she first took harp lessons while in the school orchestra, which she proclaims to this day wasn't worth the time, then she met a boy buried neck deep into the music style known as 'rap', or hip hop, as cindy refers. after enough practice and obtaining some faith in herself, cindy and her fellow rap lover joined a group called spitfire (stylized as spit.FIRE back in her hometown) little over a year into living in seattle. she never released mixtapes, but she wrote a lot of stuff - lyrics included.
SM entertainment came into view when cindy went to live with her mother for a few months when she just turned 18. notice of the company doing open auditions fell into cindy's lap - and literally, her cousin tossed a paper in her lap that read "AUDITIONING NOW". the young adult made her way to the building early one a thursday morning, and hasn't looked back since.

how you met/or how you want to meet: cindy first 'met' him while she was still a trainee, as yunho and changmin talked to the trainees as a whole a few times. she was already sort of a fan of TVXQ, and after meeting them, she couldn't take her eyes off of the tall, handsome man that is shim changmin.
