No, it hasn’t been released yet…but what the heck, I’m already reviewing their unborn music video.

Well, no, not really. But…but…umft. ><

In all honestly, when they said that DYLM resembles something like IATB, I was beyond ecstatic, my inner fangirl revived after being dormant for so long.

((What are you talking about? They released FIL. Did you not fangirl? /le gasp))

Not really lol. I was glad the queens are back…but I was really disappointed by their first promo picture—the purple one with silhouettes of palm trees and with the words Falling in Love. My first words were “Wel, this is cheesy.” then “Good job, YG. Trolling around with this poster.” to “HOMG. THIS IS IT?! SURELY YOU CAN DO BETTER!”

Then their photos came out. Them hip and chic are cool but gah! The beach one didn’t do it for me. I loved their smiling faces Their hair, but then I made the mistake of zooming in at Dara’s outfit. Someone should burn that metallic blouse. It’s not that atrocious, but Dara’s hair color totally clashed with the metallic-ness of it. Add her milky complexion, it looked like the blouse was a part of her skin. I’m forever envious of Small Park’s ever glowing skin. Very ethereal. That blouse is not. It’s need to be burned. Along with the crazy long hem of her blue skirt.

Come to think of it, it would have worked better if the colors were reversed—metallic blue top, then silver SHORT skirt. Holla, inner stylist.

Then the solo shots. Did anyone notice the photographer’s shadow on CL’s shot?

The song was really reggae-ish (I LOVE YOU MINGKKI!!!) and I would have loved it if there was some kind of story in the MV, then I realized it would not work because of the Touch me over here, Touch me over there lyrics.

The set was so-so. Something what rookie or independent artists have…Then some article praises the beach set, saying it looked like it was shot abroad in a real beach. Hahahaha! Ha…ha…ha.

Overall, I was disappointed. Maybe it was my addled brains or the fact that the hiatus was so long, but 2NE1 deserved more than that.

Then YG says the new video will be a home video with all the badassness compared to IATB. I’m sure he was referring to the song being badass, because home videos can’t be badass. Like NEVER. If you have a badass home video in your files, please upload, then send me the link. ^-^

It could work though. One Direction used the ‘home video’ style with One Way or Another. The song was cute and cooky, and it worked well with their insanely handsome faces and great voices. But the reason they resorted to that style was because they need to cut down the expenses for the video, so they could donate more to their charity. @NE1? Uhm, it was a setback. It happens. Oh YG, fame has gotten in your head. You can release the video later…we can wait. As long as the song gets released and the girls can promote we’re fine. Well, most of us anyway.

Whatever.

I still love them. They will forever be my queens.
