Background: Her family is not that rich and she used to get bullied in middle school for being poor. She lives with her Father and older brother. She was born in Busan, but her parents moved to France when she turned 2. When she reached the age of 10, her mother died in a car accident so her father decided to move back to Korea when she turned 11. She later moved to Australia until the end of high school. Since her dad was a business man, he had high expectations of her. She was good in school, but little did her father know that she was interested in music and arts. Therefore, he was not too happy when he found out. He decided to move back to Korean and starta business there to help his family and that's when Na Yeong took the opportunity to Audition for SM Entertainment. She didn't have a lot of childhood/school friends in Korea, but her father allowed her to stay with her Korean teacher in order to fulfill her dreams. Her father didn't stop her because he now focused on making sure that her brother takes over his company. She learnt how to speak more Korean at home with her family, but she is now developing on her Korean so that it can be easier for her.
