International Fans have is Harder

As much as I joke about being an international kpop fan. It really is hard. I do my best to learn the new fanchants just so I can sing them at home in front of my computer screen when I stay up late to watch live feeds of hour long videos. I can't understand just to support my favorite band and so I can watch one performance, only to wake up three hours later to get ready for school. I have to wait a couple of days extra for a variety show my favorite band was on just for the subs. When there are live chats, even though there's an English translator its not the same. The language barrier effects the fandom in every aspect of the word. I can't even join most fansites or official pages because its all in Korean. And as much as I want to drop everything and learn Korean I know I can't. On top of the Korean I struggle with the use of Mandarin on various sites. I find myself looking forward to the simple THOUGHT of having a new CD or poster because I know my chances to ever seeing my favorite band live in person is little to none, sometimes I can't afford the new album or merch that is out. Even if they come to my state/city, who's to say I can afford the expensive tickets? I'm not complaining, I continue to be a fan because how much I love these bands and the people who make the music itself. But I'd appreciate it if people could see how hard it is rather then simply judging.

Being a Canadian Kpop fan is hard, and I have a hard life. I see posts saying "Getting new kpop merch" or "Getting new album and I nd up feeling like I can't get that stuff! I sometimes just sit in my room and cry.
