EJ's symphaty is infectious. She has the ability of embrace all of humanity with compassion. She cares about her friends. When she cares for a relationship she will fight for it with everything. Background:

EJ was born in Sans Fransisco but soon left after she was three years old, so she doesn't remember it at all. Her parents moved back to South Korea because her mother receive an offer that they cannot refused. So they packed off and were off. It wasn't easy for her to make friends and wasn't hard as well.

When it came to grade, she was an average student but her parents who was born and raised in America aren't obbessive with grades. Her fellow friends were jealous of her sporting parent and that she can join sport as she like.

At a young age of 11, she discovered her love for acting, her parent enrolled her in an acting class. In 2010, at the age of 17, she auditioned and got acccpted as SM newest trainee. Afterward she decided to focus on cfs. Until when she was 18, she auditioned and got her first role as young Haein, the lead actress in drama "The Great Seer" (2012). The drama was quite popular and she started to get the attentions from other directors. Her next role is as assistant actress, Oh Soomi in drama "Childless Comfort" (2012).  There was some blacklash since her co- actor is 4 years older than her. 

When EJ was a trainee, it is definite different from others because she was already known from her cf acting carrer. Many of her fellow trainees would sneer at her or wouldn't like her but in secret. Most of them will befriend her thinking it will get them to debut faster. It was very difficult when she first trained due to her schedules, and thus still in school. It was insanely difficult and she barely slept. It was a relief after she graduated but she was still busy as a trainee cf actress and actress.
