Personality: Joo becomes a goofy, fun and the most loud and spontaneous person around people she's comfortable with, but switches back to her shy and quiet self when when she isn't comfortable with the people around her.. She follows her whims and gets the sudden urge to do the most random things ever.

Ever since she was bullied when she was younger (and when she was a trainee) she's worn her heart on her sleeve and was always sensitive to what other people thought of her, even though he knew she shouldn't care. She's always smiling, even when she's upset or in pain, she doesn't want to burden anyone so she smiles through it with her bright, beautiful smile which always has a tiny bit of sadness in it.  She's always been a deep thinker and often gets swept up in her emotions and thoughts a lot. Though she's more confident now, she still thinks of the past and all the scars it caused. Also, she's slightly cynical and skeptical, and often ends up depressing herself after a long thinking session, which is why she tries to busy herself with other things. Though she's has those cynical thoughts, she still likes to believe in the concept of fate and meting your destined person like the hopeless romantic she is. 

Family Background: Kyung Joo is a regular girl from Busan, nothing more to say. Her childhood was quite empty, her father would always be at the hospital because he was a doctor and it would only be her mother and her at home. She and her mother were as close they could get, but her father was a distant person. She also had a grandmother who was Chinese who she was attached to, she learnt Chinese off her and they ony talked in that language together. Her father was cold and hostile, even to her mother, and he was hardly ever at home. As she was growing up, he tried to brainwash make her want to become a doctor like him and filled her head with thought of being a doctor. She didn't pay attention to it, but she knew her mother wanted her to become a doctor too, so her future would be bright. But Kyung Joo hated the sight of blood because of an accident she got into when she was 6, which also caused a scar on her waist. She also found her passion, something she loved doing; music. She was obsessed with music. The only thing that be going on in her head music. Her love for music had grown when she was taken to a concert by her friend. While she watched the people on the stage, she saw how they looked so happy doing what they loved. From that moment on she wanted to be up on stage like them. 

How she got into the agency: She was walking into a karaoke place with her friends -which is how she practiced her singing without her father knowing- and got scouted by someone and they asked her to audition. She could have said no -and almost did because she thought of how disappointed her family would be- but she followed her heart and said yes. She trained for 4 years. 

Perspective about music: She can't live without it. It's vital, like the oxygen around her. Without music, her life would be so dull and boring; she'd have nothing left to live for. No matter where she goes, the only thing on her mind is music and singing. 

Lifestyle before debut: Her life consisted of school, tutoring and more lecturing. After school, her father had organaised private lessons for science and every other subject you would need to become a doctor. After that she'd go home and exchanged the same words with her father 'How was class?' 'Good.' Every day. Then she'd probably study until midnight again -while listening to music- and do her homework. This happened all week apart from weekends, which were her rest days. On Sundays she was given piano lessons by her grandmother, who secretly supported her love for music. She found herself going to karaoke with her best friend every Saturday.Her best friend supported her dream and went with her every weekend. Karaoke was the only place she could practice. She couldn't practice at home; the most she could do was hum quietly otherwise she's be given more work by her father.
