If the Countries were people

This really put my thinking in to perspective when someone told me this. (I'm from the USA) (before I got to know/ have interests in other countries. Like Japan then Korea and China, even places like the UK and many other places I want to visit now :D )

Okay, if the countires were people, and you were America answer these questions.

(They being the other countries, any other country)

Do you know what music they produce/ listen to?

No

Do you know their name brands and clothes?

No I don't.

Do you know what they do for entertainment?

Nope

Do you know what things they like to eat?

Maybe?

And if you ask other countries, What do you know about America?

Do you know what music they produce/ listen to?

Yes, because we want to know what's popular in the US.

Do you know their name brands and clothes?

Yes we do. We know because we make, buy and sell these things to the country and/or we get tourists to buy them.

Do you know what they do for entertainment?

Yes because we want to apeal to their likes so we can make a living.

Do you know what things they like to eat?

Yes because we host American food chain stores so the tourists can eat what they like

(instead of trying the exotic food choices of the countries they visit and actually live there and be a part of it.)

I think that more people need to actually be able to point out the difference between asian foods. Also thinking that America is the only place in the world and they can only do things there.

I want to say I don't hate the US, but we could show more interest in other countries and what they have to offer ^-^

Stop being shallow

P.S. This is not to ANY AFF member :) Because we all like/ are from the different countries!

Oh and by the way there is this anime called Hetalia where people are countries and are named by their country. It's kinda off topic but I just wanted to spread hetalia around x)

America reeks of arrogance. And I'm an American, so I'm not just saying this.
I mean, besides this cultural stuff, look at American politics. America always tries to get into /everybody's/ business and impose their beliefs on them. But the second another country tries to do the same to America, everyone loses their minds.
