joo, joo ahreum. there might be some other girls with the same name, but she can easiy guarantee her own space on your mind. love or hate her? with 90% of chance, both. her princess-like personality will give you the urge to puke, but inside she have a LIKEABLE SIDE, it's just hard to reach.  
obnoxious is a good description. she thinks about herself as "seongnam's princess", and actually the reality isn't different. if she want something, from the smallest to the biggest, she will have. talk about being spoiled. inside her head, herself > others. she is more valuable than you, so, she deserve to have priority. ahreum care less about what other people think about her.
of course other people have space in her heart too. she is very caring and touchy, and you can see this by how she behaves towards her few friends from college. she hugs them, kiss their cheeks, and sometimes pretends to kick them, but its her way to be weirdly cute. mock them, threaten them, she will press down arrow + up arrow + y and throw a hadouken on your face.

As a typical b type, she is quick to anger. when things go out of her plans, or people refuse to act the way she wants, she explodes as a bomb of sarcasm an lack of patience - she won't think twice before starting a verbal fight.
hands down, she is the most competitive person from south korea. when she loses games, she will get upset and stop talking and interacting with joy. as a big sore loser, ahreum put the blame on life for not letting her win, everything but her fault. she gives her 101%, taking a simple game as her life's main task.
really weird humor is one interesting point on ahreum. she laughs about things that most part of people would poker face or not even care about it. a short list of things she find hilarious would be: grandpa and uncle-like puns, others people's disgrace, jokes about serious and touchy topics, other people acting aegyo-ish. oh, erted jokes are her favorites.  
extroverted, she likes to meet new people and express her thoughts everytime and everywhere. she feel 0% of awkwardness toward who she don't know, and talks about random things with them as they are long time friends. some people like it, as they feel comfortable around her, but some others hate it, feeling kind of disrespected and like their own space was violated.
unforgiving and unstoppable are two good words to describe her. about unforgiving, she will move on and not chain herself into sadness because of some happening. but, only a but. don't go thinking that she would forgive the person who hurt her. when what happened is light, the other person have to say sorry first, and she will then say it too, but if it's something really serious, she will never forgive you. about unstoppable, when she have a goal, a wish, an idea, she won't stop by any condition before it's fulfilled. she immerses herself into it, with all her dedication.

everything started back on 1987 in one city from jeollanam-do, called gwangyang where the protagonist of this summarized story was born. a woman - who carried the name jang hyosook, and a man - whose name was joo kwangsoo, met in college. as most part of the couples, they naturally fell in love, dated, and after a few years they decided to get married. leaving their parents houses, they rushed to start a new family. months of anxiety passed by, and at march 9th, a healthy and quite noisy baby was born. they named her ahreum, beauty in korean.

ahreum spent her first 5 years happily, nothing particularly special. she wasn't fed with silver spoons, nor starved. but at one moment, her father was fired from the small agricultural industry he worked in, and the family passed through the biggest financial problem they ever had. he tried to find another job, but since he quitted college, a no was always the answer. ahreum was too young to understand the situation in details, so she just kept playing with her bald creepy barbies.

as a miracle, ahreum's mother's friend, han seyoung, offered a job to both, kwangsoo and hyosook, as vice president and chief executive officer of her husband's new steel company. they both accepted without thinking twice. the start was slow, but once they got some speed, the company flew away, and with lots of hardwork, the name of "one of the biggest companies from south korea" belonged to them.

when ahreum was 7 years old, they decided to move to seongnam on gyeonggi-do, so they could live more confortably... even if their lives belonged to the work now. twenty four by seven they were flying to this or that country to treat about serious business, and they had no more time to properly talk or play with ahreum. when the situation got to the point that they almost never put their feet inside their house, they hired a full-time babysitter called hwang suji, a teenager. she was probably the only mother she had after that, since she stoped treating her parents like close members of her family. to her, they were just there. but it's not like suji cared about her as her daughter. she was there for the money, and rushed to satisfy all wishes that the girl had, or else she would be fired. ahreum wanted to eat now, but only that one food? she would eat. she wanted to be entertained? suji would put some movies on the tv.

while growing up, what she got to learn is that everything she wants she can get, somehow. and that using her famous last name and some important phone numbers, or using some dirty tricks can be easier than working hard.

on school she was the typical rebel who get bad grades, the personality with a touch of "spoiled and bossy" seasoning. she always had her troublemaker friends, but boyfriends... in her whole life, only two guys risked. the first one was purely for curiosity, from both sides. after getting to know how relationships work, they broke up. the next relationship was disastrous. he had some trouble with her personality, but she became dependent of him. she loved him, and he apparently loved her too - that's what she needed. the though ahreum turned into butter.  not being able to tell her he wanted to stop there, he started cheating, and the break up came when she found out, with an giant and violent fight.

her affection for korean pop music started after that. as she searched for funny videos on youtube, to cheer her up, she found an apartment game video from a kpop group. after laughing to death because of their silliness, ahreum searched the group name on google and started listening to the song, and she grew to like it... a lot.   

as time passed, her rebellious side faded away. after graduating and studying for one year and half, she left all her old friends and suji. her parents bought an apartment where she started to live while attending to college, which she gone for performing arts.

"ah, this is the worst day ever. i gotta watch one episode of those varieties to cheer up.", "ugh, life is so unfair and cruel! i think i need to watch this cute video so i can forget about it a bit". those phrases came from my mouth numerous times... my relief on those unwanted moments was called MBLAQ. with pretty funny and cute variety appearances, i just couldn't finish watching a video with them without being all happy. this habit started when i broke up with a past stupid boyfriend, things from past. after some searches on nate,i was able to find my favorite member name, a cool one - yang seungho. his smile and attitude was just so... flawless. so powerful yet sometimes delicate. i laughed at myself. i looked like one of these teenager creepy fangirls. but then... somewhy... my grandmother's main lesson about life hit me. she always said that phrase as it was really important.

his smile cured my break up wounds. his smile kicked away my worries and stress. and as a coincidence, he had the same age as me. i couldn't miss this opportunity. everything clicked. if he was the one, i wouldn't contest.

as a twist of fate, one of the members from his group, mir, had a family from jeollanam-do too, and his sister was hyosook's friend. she was going to get married, and i was invited. all mblaq members would be there, and that was just the perfect opportunity to make the first move. oh life, if once i hated you... will you marry me?

now the story gets kind of disastrous. 

on the day of the wedding, i started doing my job. i went close to mblaq and introduced myself to the member politely. they all introduced themselves and asked some questions about my life, except for seungho. he seemed too immersed on his own world to care about my presence. he simply bowed and nodded. trying to force a little bit more, i told him i admired him. reactions? only a soft smile (oh god, no) and a thank you.

i left annoyed. this was completely wrong. there would be a comeback. his actions were just like fuel to her wish. that "mission" had complete priority over everything.

then, this arcticle about a new variety show called the dating game jumped on my face, the title written with bold and big font. there was even an application form and an e-mail to send them.

just perfect. it was my chance. but doing it by the regular way would be too risky. there was a slim chance to be chosen out of so many girls. then i decided to go for my own way, that never failed. after finding the number of one important staff from the channel, friend of kwangsoo, i proposed a vary good deal. i would be in the variety, and they would have the steel company as a sponsor. the only thing he had to do was to let me in and call kwangsoo asking for a sponsor. just.

not being stupid enough to refuse, i got my own space in the dating game. i'm not undeserving, i will be there for the same motive as all the other girls. only the details are dirty, but psh, who cares about details. seongnam's princess  will have other bucket list item with a line overlapping the letters.

his personality is weird and confusing. like ahreum, he got his shell and his true content, love behavior as well.

his shell is basically blody type b's personality. with a bad-boy-ish image, he is cold and like to act cool. he don't feel the need to share his feelings and thoughts with who he is not pretty close, prefers to stay only with himself or with his close friends. this leaves a mysterious and quite "mona lisa like" feeling, making you want to come closer. not someone of many words.  
 

revealing his content really slowly while you get closer, you get to know that his inner side is really weird. with a mature personality, he isn't A-cute-dumb like Mir AND JOON, BUT SUDDENLY HE GETS ALL CHILDISH AND RETARDED, complaining with unusual aegyo about how x member did his part instead and dancing like a grandfather. seungho is very easy to laugh - other people's dumbness and oddness are the funniest thing on earth to him. bossy, likes to be on control all the time, and loves more than anything to bully the people he know, threatening them. it's an weird way to express his affection towards them. 

about love, when feelings starts to grow, he takes his time to evaluate the situation, organize his mind. while this happens, he is really cautious, and tend to back off a bit so he have some time alone, and with this he refrains himself of making some action without thinking well, that could potentially throw everything on the trash bin. this part is kind of troublesome because it tends to have misunderstandings. when he have clear thoughts, he is pretty immediate, and blurts out his feelings honestly. with this part he don't have many problems, but his number one obstacle is the fact that he can't express his love well, he try to and it's sucessful with a bit of awkwardness, but his frustration is that a natural outcome never happened.

what did you think of him before coming:

SHE DIDN'T LIKED TO ADMIT, BUT HE, EXCEPT FOR SOME DETAILS, WAS HER IDEAL TYPE WITH FLESH AND BONES. a lonely warrior kind of person, bad boy, but really sweet though. even when ahreum was stressed or depressed, the needed medicine was just one or two smiles coming from him. before passing out, her grandmother always said to her "if you find someone who can cure your wounds only with a simple gesture, he is the one". following blindly her words, she though he was the one. 

what kind of room mate is he?:

his space is his space. if she cross the line between her side and his side, it's world war iii. don't come too closer, don't try to open his shell. just don't.

but it isn't like she is determined to follow his rules. that's mostly the reason why they're fighting all the time.

his side of the room is pretty clean and simple, and he gets annoyed by how ahreum's is messy and have things here and there all the time.

what kind of roomate are you?: 

she messes up with everything, and inside her head everything is neatly organized but in her own way. ahreum don't care not even a bit about seungho's rules and does the way she wants. invades his space as it's regular, sitting on his bed and playing with his things. the devil, basically. 

do you two get along?:

a no with a slight touch of yes. they fight even for the smallest thing. but when they decide to cooperate a little, the outcome is kinda not bad. but you know, as the shells starts cracking...

ahreum likes to pretend she is brave, ghosts don't even exist, right?! but when the first one appears, she jumps and starts screaming like the goat from taylor swift's i knew you were trouble remix.

what kinds of games are you good at? she is quite good at the physical ones, but the ones that she is the best is on the ones that require sense.

scene suggestions: oh, i would like a lot of stupid fights <3 such as fighting because she was using his gadgets without his permission or because they are bothered with each other's personalities.

ahreum mainly likes seungho as an object or a hard-to-reach goal, i thought it would be nice to her to start reallly liking him after some bickering. it isn't really a scene suggestion but i didn't know where to freaking put this lmao

game suggestions: i don't know which kind of games you want specifically, but about couple-ish games i only know some. i really like one that they had on invincible youth. they gone to some creepy places like a haunted house and they had some missions to complete, would win who was able to finish them.

there was one on idol army that it was a quiz, it could be about anything, like general knowledge. the man held the woman bridal-style and they would go in the direction of the microphone, get there and answer it. the only weird point is that they should throw the girls on the top of a balloon, if it popped they could answer. i think this part could be cut off lmao

there's other two i know. there's this one when you have to guess which one is your partner while you're blindfolded, but you have to go like rubbing your hands on them and it's kinda nasty lmao

the other one is everybody in a circle, connected by holding hands. they have to squeeze the hand of the person on their right, and then that person will squeeze the hand of the next person. if it's noticiable that x person squeezed x person's hand in that moment, you gotta say it. if it's wrong, you're out, if it's right, they're out. wins who is the last one.

oh, there's card kissing too, who passes the most cards win, but it's a cliché. lmao
