Melody is a girl who is very very passionate about makeup and art. She had always loved K-Pop ever since she was 12. She used to be very insecure about her appearance because she was a fat girl when she was 13. But she really stood up for herself and lost weight with the help and motivation of all of her friends and the help of someone special.

She hates liars and bullies. She loves nature very much. She never bullies people but she has a very diva-ish side. She usually shows her diva side to most of the people. But the loving side of her, can only be seen by a special someone.

Background : Kim Jongbum is from Seoul and Rose Kang is a Half-Korean from U.S.A and are children with great talents and the children of successful, rich people. They met eachother when they were both sent to Paris to continue their studies there. Those two fell in love with each other deeply and asked for the blessings of their families, which were easily granted because even a stranger could see how love blossomed between those two. They married each other and 2 years into their marriage, Jaehee was born.

Kim Jaehee was born to the loving parents, Kim Jongbum and Rose Kang. She lived in a middle-class house with her family. Throughout the years, Jaehee was given overwhelming love but, the two parents fought over a very small thing, causing the family to be broken into pieces. Jongbum stayed in Seoul and Rose went to Hollywood with 7-year-old Jaehee by her side.

Life in USA was really hard for Jaehee since she had to get used to American customs, her English name 'Melody' and the surroundings. But, as time passed by, Jaehee learned to love USA, treasuring the said country deeply. Over the time, this girl grew a passion for makeup and art, learning to do tutorials from a close friend of hers, Michelle Phan, who's also a very famous youtuber.

At the age of 16, Jaehee returned to Seoul because of a scholarship she had gotten from one of the most prestigious schools in South Korea, Hankuk Academy of Foreign Studies. She was scouted by a TS Entertainment talent agent there and the talent agent asked her if she wanted to try and become an entertainer. Remembering about what her mother told her about her voice, Jaehee auditioned and became a trainee under TS Entertainment.
