First Date Advice (plz help!)

So my friend, lets call him D, is really good friends with this girl and he really likes her. D made a date with her and he has no idea what to do. He has no idea where to go or what to do, he doesn't want to look boring or do anything boring for that matter, the dude has no idea what to say or how to be romantic. 

I kept suggesting to go see a movie or go to a reasturant, but he regected saying that'd be boring. So I asked D what the girl likes and said he had no ing idea and that he'd never understand a girls mind. I told D that he should just get her a stuffed bear, chocolates or flowers, whatever guys usually get for the girl on first dates. I said that he should walk her home or drive her home, hug her good night and if he's not a total coward, slowly lean in and kiss the damn girl! 

I don't really have a lot of experience with dating so I don't really know what he should do. If you don't mind, could you please help me!? He really likes this girl (or so I'm told) and I want to help him, his dates tomorrow and I hope it goes well!

An amusement park or the arcade would be really fun. If he has time, knows how to cook and knows roughly what she likes, he could pack a picnic for them and go to the beach! You don't have to get all fancy and go to a restaurant. Or he can ask her if there's anything she wants to do. If she does, you could do that. If she doesn't have a Plan B.
Ice Skating sounds cool to me too. Or go to the Zoo if she loves animals? Depending on what she likes, you can do alot of stuff. Do something she likes, so she'll want to go out again!
Ice parlours are good too! Who doesn't love ice cream? Haha.

Wow, that's hard~ I guess it depends on the age and type of girl she is. Yes, a movie may be boring because you don't get time to talk that much but it's not a bad advice for a date that is going to last a couple of hours (Maybe she has a movie that she really wants to see). Maybe an amusement park or an arcade, but that will surely depend of the type of girl he is going for.

Watch out with the hug or maybe the kiss thing, it would depend on the way she acts during the date and it doesn't have to wait until the end of the date.

He doesn't need to be really romantic, and don't let him be corny. Also, I think flowers are a bit too much for a first date, but that's just me. He should act normal, maybe be a little playful, but surely, don't let him act "cool" or cold towards her. He should also be polite and maybe sweet.

If you don't have a bubble tea place, an ice cream place could do, or a place where they serve really good desserts.

Anyway, like I said, it depends on the girl. Once I went on a date to an observatory in a museum that showed incredible movies about galaxies and space; another time I went to a date and we went to a baseball game (And I LOVE both things, so I had a blast but I have many friends that would have died of boredom in both cases)

So yeah, I don't know either xD dating is hard~

Uhm... if I'm on the girl's shoes, I'd let the guy lead. But then again , I expect like a bubble tea date then arcade or movie... despicable me 2 is out.
