Nail Shop/ Salon Paris - reviewing (Part I)

Well, first of, this will be like a reviewing blog post. If you don't want to read it, it's okay. :)

In my opinion, Nail Shop Paris is one of those dramas which you look at it and think "Eh~ nothing of interesting." but then after watching you kind of get interested by it (at least I did). I mean, I watched episode one and in the end I was like, "Woaa this may be cool to watch.", then I continued watching.

Not only the men (the actors) are handsome - as like in the other dramas, but whatever - but the plot is quite good too. There's just only one thing I don't think that it wasn't good. The fact that the main character (female a.k.a Gyuri) transformed into a guy and pretended to be a guy, just remembered me of Sulli in To The Beautiful You, which I may say that in my point of view is a copy but with a different plot.

There's similarities between NSP and TTBY.

1 - The female main character tranforms and pretends to be a guy;

2 - One of them (of course) starts devoloping feelings for her/him and doubt his uality.

3 - There's a love trinagle, in which, at first all of them has a one-sided love.

4 - The female main character bickers a lot with one of the two guys, with whom she will eventually end up.

Until now these are the similarities I found, since I haven't finished watchin Nail Shop Paris too, I can't say there are more.

Speaking specifically about Nail Shop Paris, what I have to say is:

I find Alex (Jun Ji Hoo) reaaaaaallly attractive. *Sighs* Oh well. So, the acting of Thunder is really good and the other actors except for Jun Ji Hoo and Gyuri. WARNING: I'm not hating. I just find the way he acts a bit werid I don't know, or maybe is just his character that is really like that. Anyway, Guyri's acting is good, BUT in my point of view its still lacking a bit, but then is just my opinion.

The drama itself is good. I like the idea of how the workers in Nail Shop Paris, get involved in their costumers problems and help them out. It is something that in real life doesn't happen. I like also the reason of Hong Yeo Joo (a.k.a Bunny) to wanting to pretend to be a guy. I mean, it wouldn't be me who would disguise as a guy just because I wanted to get new ideas for a new book without being accused of plagiarism, (Well, thinking of it, maybe I would.), but it makes it more adventurous and dangerous.

Anyway, one of the episodes that touched me the most, was the one in which there was an old couple. I mean, it was soooo cute and sweet. I'm not going to tell you what happened. You'll have to watch it. ^^

And that's it. I think. ^^ I just wanted to share my opinion about this drama. :)
