....Korean??

A.S I don't know if you are interested... this blog is gonna be a sort of "language diary"

Hello everyone!

I started holiday a month ago already, but between exams and other stuff I started to feel summer just recently...

Well, in Italy we have 3 months of holiday, from June 10th untill September 16th! Many of you will probably think I am lucky, but let me tell you, it gets boring soon!

Since I have so much free time I decided to dedicate this time doing something useful instead of idling all day!

Soooo, I decided to take up Korean... I was waiting the right time to start it seriously and now that I am all day at home and friends are ignoring me I can fully dedicate my time to it!

Maybe some of you already know that 2 years ago I started Japanese all by myself, back then I was 14, and now that I am 16 and I am still really far from being perfect, but those 2 years of hardwork did give my lots of good results!

Korean and Japanese are really similar, expecially when it comes of grammar, so I thought that maybe I could study Korean in Japanese, it feels like learning a language while practicing another one!

I looked up on the net, searching for some good learning sites... Here I have some:

Here you have the grammar lessons in Japanese, but if you look in the channel they also have them in English!

Here you have the best site for Korean, it is in English and it is pretty complete, you can find more or less everything you need!

Here a really good dictionary!

I don't know if you need them, but I wanted to link them in case some of you were interested!

I am still a beginner, I just know the basics of korean language... but, in my opinion little victories are the best when it comes of learning a language. Even understanding a word or a simple sentence is very IMPORTANT!

Step by step everything is possible!

I still remember when I was 14 learning Japanese alone, at first everything seemed so complicate and difficult but right now studying has become easier, those words and strange signs have their own meanings to me, and I can tell you, it is a wonderful sensation!

So I think I am gonna repeat it once again with Korean. I guess I wrote this just to keep me motivated xD Should I write some more of this kind of post?

If you have any question you can ask me of course! And if someone want to speak Korean with me please tell me, I would like to learn some more~~

PS. I also am learning some Chinese, some friends are helping me with it, but I am still practicing the tones so there isn't that much to write about...

PPS. I don't know what's wrong with my English today, sorry....

Cool! I have 3 months off too and I'm learning Chinese. It's such a beautiful and important language. So freaking hard lol.

Good luck! I can only read Korean, not understand it.
