Personality : Chanel is a very easygoing person. She likes being in charge and is good at it. She is known to be responsible but has her reckless moments. Chanel is super competitive and has this drive to win or die trying. With her friends and family she is caring sweet and super cheesy. It takes her a while to trust people. Chanel is talkative and is nice to everyone but that doesnt mean she trust them.When she is pissed of she tends to blunt and rude. When shes sad or in a bad mood she doesnt talk much and she has major casses of OCD where everything and or everyone around her has to be clean or she wont be able to function and/ or breathe. Chanel is a confident person who believes that everyone is beautiful in their own little way. Since she is baby of the family she gets spoiled even now and tends to have her diva moments every now and then, which let me tell you is hilarous and outrageous.  Chanel is the kind of person that is daring and enjoys pushing limits in whatever she does. Fashion is everything to her because it how she express her self to the world.

 

Background :  Chanel was born July 22nd 1993 in Bejing, China. Her older brother is Luhan Xi of EXO.  From a young age she enjoyed being the center of attention and would always show off her talents to the people around her.  Her parents saw how much she enjoyed attention and her interest in music and decided to enroll her in a Performing Arts Company at the age of 5 which she stayed until she went to Korea to pursue her dreams. In dance she specified in Ballet  Hiphop and later on Gymanastics In Music she specified in vocal training, the composing of music and learning how to play instruments. She grew up learning from her family that if she put in her all and then some she could be whatever she wanted to be. After watching  a documentary on childkidnapping she imediately started kickboxing at the age 11 which she grew to love and still does it now. She excelled in school and was considered one of the popular kids because of her brother and her easy going personality. People tried to use her to get to her brother but she learned quickly and now it takes a while for her to warm up to people she doesnt know. Chanel and her brother enjoyed learning languages together hence why she is fluent not only in chinese but Korean and English. Her parents knew she wanted to be an idol but told her to focus on her studies first because she was still young. Then years later after they saw that it wouldnt be that bad after Luhan got into EXO they decided that she could try. One day when Chanel was visiting her brother in Korea she was scouted and after auditioning she made into SM Entertainment. She has already debuted as a model.
