Ps. Quick question about Korean titles. I know an older male to a younger girl (depending on the relationship, but we'll ignore that part for now) is Oppa.

A way older male is an Ajusshi

What is the proper between the male and female for the title Oppa?

Heechul is four-ish years older than me, so not too much older, so I refer to him as Oppa.

Am I correct in this term.

He really doesn't feel like an ajusshi to me.

If we happened to have gone to the same school, he would have been a Senior when I was  Freshman.

I think even if someone is Ahjussi to you (Not heechul) if you become close still you can call them Oppa unless they are very old like 50ish cause I have this American friend who has lived in korea and is 30 something yo and He told me to call him Oppa XD

I think you're correct. It's me that's wrong.
I'm rather young, let me just say he's 18 years older than me (now he's thirty, so I'm twelve)
So he's basically my ahjussi.
But isn' it weird?

Things like that makes you understand why you're Heechul biased and why he is lovable, he has a sense of humour amd is witty but not in the common way which gets dull fast. My sense of humour XD and the way he replys to fans, which actually reminds me of my school friends who are like 'oh he would so like you~~' whilst I'm like 'no. he wouldn't, first of all you're immature, you can't speak Korean and Google Translate doesn't count, you're too young and you will never meet him'
But anyway if I end up Heechul-biased, its your fault

It ultimately depends on what you want to call him now. He's old enough to be considered an "ahjussi" in Korea, but because he's an idol and you're his fan, and the fact that you're younger than him, you can still call him "oppa."

Even some older women still call their idol 'Oppa'

But even to couples the, girl calls the guy Oppa, so i guess it doesn't really matter.

But like in the comments, its when the male is waaaay older, thats when they are called Ahjussi

i just google it so Ahjumma and Ahjussi basically mean "friend of my father or mother," so u only use it for someone around the age of ur parents

Oppa is fine. kkk~ Heechul is 10 years older than me. but i still prefer to call him oppa... kkk~ i dont want to call anyone in SuJu ahjussi.. kkk~ ;)

Yeah, oppa is fine. Ahjussi is for people who are way older than you.
