Background : 

Jihyun is the oldest of two, she has an youger brother whos 15 turning 16 this year. Her parents are divorced, they divorced when Jihyun was 9, her mom lives in LA while she and her older brother live in Seoul with their dad. Every summer she and her brother would visit their mom in America for 3 weeks that was before they both became trainees. Her dad works as an Vet so he makes pretty good money, they aren't rich, but they arent poor either.

It had always been Jihyuns dream to become an idol ever since she was a little girl and watched a DBSK concert on TV, she wanted to be able to experience the thrill of being on stage. Her dad is not musically talented, however Jihyuns mom is decently musically talented. Her mom majored in modern and traditional dance, and went on to become a dance instructer in America. Her dad never thought Jihyun's dreams were to become an idol, and thought it was just a hobby that she wanted to take dance lessons. Jihyun took Hip hop, jazz, and ballet.

In School she didnt do the best in academics, but she participated in various sports like Track and she was apart of the gymnastics team. She was pretty popular in school because she was known for being an SM trainee, and she was a popular member of the gymnastics team. Trainee Life : She can't consider it hard because it was her choice to spend the extra hours practicing. She was one of the popular SM trainees and was never really bullied, She wasnt liked by a few trainees but she was still liked by a lot of them. The hardest part about training for Jihyun was finding time to also study since she was still in school. She trained at SM for 2 years before leaving. She auditioned for TS after 2 weeks and was accepted as a trainee. At TS it was the same thing, she wasnt liked by many trainees but was never hated, She got along with a majority of them, However at TS she trained even longer hours sometimes practicing for 19 hours.

• On weekly idol Doni ask's if Jihyun will show them her honey abs, she says No because shes a lady. Defcon laughs and says "Just pretend there are 8 ladies right here, then theres you". she finds it funny that hes basiclly calling her a guy, then turns around to lift her shirt up high enough so it just covers her chest, then turns around to show the camera.
• On a night when everyone still has scheduals except Jihyun and Woohyun, he invites her to Infinites practice room to watch scarey movies. He buys the movies and waits for her while she goes out to buy junk food and drinks for them to eat while watching scarey movies. She also buys a pizza so they have a decent meal. Woohyun also brought a bunch of pillows and blankets so they dont have to sit on the hard ground, and since its already dark outside and the practice room is cold they end up snuggled up in blankets. While they were watching the grudge on Woohyuns laptop, Through the whole movie Jihyun is clinging onto Woohyun and hiding her face in his chest at scarey parts.
• Jihyun and Jimin do a  special stage at Inkigayo where they dance and sing to trouble maker, its one of those moments where Woohyun gets super mad and jealous since its a touchy dance. In the end he ignores her for a few days, which confuses her, then when she confronts him about it, she tells him to grow up and stop acting like a little kid. It makes Woohyun even more mad but then he cools off and thinks things over and feels guilty, knowing Jihyun wont accept his apology so easily, he pulls a Kang Maru and buys her four gifts: 1: her favorite flowers (pink roses) 2: her favorite bubble tea(strawberry with extra pearls) 3: a pretty necklace and 4: Kiss (why does Song Joongki look like such a good kisser? T-T), but since he did it infront of their dorm the other members saw and thats when they found out the two were dating.
• Woohyun to hug Jihyun like this: 
• Jihyun to go on Running man and during the final race shes running from Jongguk. He catches her by the sleeve of her sweatshirt and is trying to pull her back to grab her name tag, Jihyo, Jaesook, Kwangsoo, as well as 3 other members of Jihyuns team run to help. However while shes struggling against Jongguk he accidently hits her chin with his elbow. As everyone stops to gape at Jongguk she starts fake crying and whinning because it hurt. everyone starts scolding Jongguk and Kwangsoo even kicks him. While everyone is arguing they dont realize the time left, and then the times up. Her team is able to eliminate all four of them within the first 5 minutes of the race.
• When asked her ideal type is Jihyun answers with Lee Jonghyun, then they ask her if she wants to leave a message for him. She does but ends up just saying "Jonghyun oppa...if your free anytime soon lets go out for a drink". 
• At a music broadcasting Jihyun to slip off  the stage and hurt her hip, the only thing thats broken is her ankle.
