Singapore is flooded!

The dreaded re-opening of school has come and students would be back to their hectic school lives in a few hours time. These students have expressed their immense grief and sadness over this matter and tears have poured out of their eyes. The last minute rushing of holiday homework, the last minute mad rush to finish all those thousand-word long reports and the routine of having to wake up in the wee hours of the morning when the rooster hasn't even crowed (if they even do), has even driven some to the point of insanity.

The sudden outflow of tears has caused certain parts of Singapore to be flooded, especially low-lying areas. 

When interviewed, many students were in tears as they answered our questions with red, swollen eyes and tears streaming endlessly down their faces, causing an ankle-height flood in these areas. A student from ASDFGHJKL Secondary who wished stay unnamed was in hot tears as she regretted not doing her homework before and having to rush everything now is just "driving (her) crazy". 

In a nutshell, many others students also expressed similar sentiments as they were interviewed. 

Will the Ministry of Education have a change of mind and decide to prolong the holidays? Despite the late hours, the government is currently discussing on this issue and coming up with a statement in a few hours time. 

While students hope for the best, let us all go catch some sleep now eh?
