ugh I’m finally back. I finally did something productive with my life and I mingled. I went to student council summer camp! it was so amazing! I loved it a lot. We did so much I don’t even know where to start. lol.

well, at first we went off to our cabins and met the people we would be living with the week. I was instantly greeted sweetly as soon as I stepped foot in the door. there for 7 other girls in my cabin; Sydney, Noelle, Carly, Stephanie, MIchelle, Elania, and Sarah. Our JC (junior councilor) had come into our cabin, we sat in a circle and got to know more about each other. we shared our names, favorite color, etc. 

the next day, Monday, all the 7 other girls and I had instantly become close, we soon became sisters. I learned more and more about them and began to like them more and more. We all laughed and had good times during the week.

Every day we had a song fest in the outdoor auditorium where we all (200+ kids, 36 JC’s and 19 Senior Staff) sung songs that were so catchy you just couldn’t stop singing them. and every night we had campfire, where we had time to mellow down after all the crazy (did I mention the JC’s were ABSOLUTELY crazy and amazing? yeah ok anyways). all the JC’s shared stories from their life with us that sometimes (most of the time) got emotional) with us and a majority of cried.

We had a hoedown (I danced with boys and girls at both the hoedown and luau), a luau (where I for the first time got to dance with JC crush (wHO IS COMPLETELY ADORABLE WITH AMAZING MUSCLES AND A CUTE FACE THAT I JUST WANT TO SQUISH AND AND AND UGH HE’S SO PERFECT AND ADORABLE AND IM STOPPING THERE) and we had banquet night where we decorated our dining hall with decorations for the special event that night.

On I think about tuesday or wednesday, we watched an older movie called “Free To Be" with Micheal Jackson in it and we had a discussion group or deep talk after and shared stories about our lives and everything.

When the week and camp had had one last day left, it got emotional. that night at campfire, the senior JC’s had threw their crazy hats in the fire :(

they gave little speeches and tossed their hats in the fire and sat down and cried.

mind you, I was bawling my eyes out, I had as soon as I walked over to where my cabin was standing and everyone was like bawling. so I started crying and didn’t stop until showers that night.

today, we all said goodbye to everyone, swapped phone numbers, addresses, email’s, etc so we could stay in contact. we hugged (I GOT TO HUG MY JC CRUSH AGAIN WHO’S NAME IS ANDREW BTW) and left with our parents.

oh and we all signed each other’s shirts and everything.

so yeah, there was my week in a nutshell for you. haha sorry for the neverending post. lol. anyways, I missed you guys! :c
