Fix You (tentative title)

Okay so, i may have been working on a new fic.. i know, i know i still have a lot of unfinished ones and I'm really sorry for not updating but it's just that the idea really planted itself in my head and well, when things like this happen, i usually just let that guide me… any ways here’s a little preview.  I'll post this fic when i'm finish with it... here goes...

======================================

A few hours ago, the whole stadium was alive; the stage was lit with laser lights dancing with the beat of their songs. The walls reverbrated with the thundering scream of fans combined with every note they play with their instruments. From his spot on the stage, the Boices (the name of their fandom) looked like a still sea, reflecting the night sky as their lightsticks bobbed in the air.

Now, the stadium was blanketed in darkness, punctuated only by small flourescent lights that led towards the exits. The silence loud as that of thousands of screaming fans.

“Hyung?”

Footsteps echoed. “Hyung?” the voice repeated.

Yong Hwa turned around and faced the approaching man. Kang Min Hyuk, their drummer, has that unmistakable look of concern on his face.

“I’m fine,” he said immediately. “I’m just... overwhelmed by everything that’s happened to us.”

Min Hyuk stood beside him and gazed out towards the darkness. “It’s unbelievable right hyung?” he whispered awestruck. Yong Hwa just nodded.

4 years ago, they were nobodies. As soon as they finished with their basic training in their agency, they were sent to Japan to study and be immersed in music. And unlike most idol groups CNBLUE is a band- playing their own instruments instead of busting out dance moves.

The first few months in Japan were the hardest, with their limited knowledge on the language, they could only communicate as much. But still they soldiered on. Their usual stages were street corners and train stations and if they were lucky, they manage to get to play in live houses.

It wasn’t long before they gained fans; at first it was just 4-5 persons but the more they played, the more people took interest. They got offers to create an album and they jumped right at it. It wasn’t that successful but it wasn’t a failure either. With those albums, they managed to have a reasonable amount of followers for an indie band.

After a year of sorts in Japan, they went back to their own country and debuted.

Their first Korean single ‘I’m a loner’ was a success. In two weeks they reached number one, earning them the nickname ‘Monster Rookies’. But with the success came a barrage of scandals. Issues of plagiarism arose but that was not the worst thing. The worst thing was that some people started calling them a fake band for not playing live in music shows. Although there were certain limits in music shows, those people choose to ignore those and just kept on accussing the band.

It hurt them badly, but that didn’t stop them from continuiung to play and create music.

Now, 3 years in the Korean music industry, they have proven to be one of the best. And not just in music. In a short span of time, all four members have already been cast in dramas and movies. Some girl groups even have them in their music videos. They’ve also expanded into Mcing and variety shows. And just recently, they managed to prove once and for all that they can really play their instruments by being one of the first groups to play live in music shows. Plus, their latest album has successfully reached number 1 in the Billboard.

The road to where they are now was not easy but everything was worth it.

“Hyung! Min Hyuk! What are you two doing there?”

“Aish Lee Jung Shin you’re ruining the moment! We were just reminiscing!” Min Hyuk shouted.

“Really? Wait for me, i’ll join you guys,” their bassist shouted jogging towards them.

“Yah! Never mind you already ruined the atmosphere,” Yong Hwa said jokingly.

“Hyung, come on. I want to reminisce too,” he said as he reached them.

Yong Hwa lightly pushed him on the shoulder, “Let’s do that next time. I’m hungry.”

“Let’s go Chingu,” Min Hyuk said, putting his arm around Jung Shin’s waist and pulling him to the exit, Yong Hwa following behind.

“By the way, where’s Kwang Jin? It’s like i haven’t seen him after the concert,”

“He’s probably sleeping backstage,” Jung Shin replied.
