Background: Born and raised in Tokyo japan Minami is the younger of two children a boy and a girl her mother worked as a curator for an art gallery while her father dabbled in the media arts working as a free lance writer and an independent film maker.Minami took up guitar when she was 8 years old writing her own songs and singing Her older brother Micchi liked dabbling in the technical aspect of music in highschool he created his hip-hop duo Jumichi with his friend Junpei seeing her brother actually debut made her realize she was wasting time and has since made haste in an effort to catch up to Micchi and impress her parents.Minami was the polar opposite of Micchi she played guitar and drums while he made beats and DJ'd she was quite and akward he was loud and outgoing.She moved to Korea after graduating highschool in attempt to cross over to the music scene and make her debut as a solo artist or part of a rock band.
