Should I Drop The "Tae?" [Username Change?]

As much as I admire him as a peformer, I just don't have the same obsession with Taemin that I had before. Again, not taking anything away from the guy - if it weren't for him, I wouldn't have started taking dance seriously again, and for that, I am forever grateful. It's just that I'm broadening my horizons more and more in terms of kpop and my overall writing, and I feel like marketing myself as "TaeminnieMee" makes me seem like a Taemin obsessed, mediocre writer. I don't know. There's just something that sounds rather immature about it, you know? Like, not taking anything away from people with their biases name in their username - I'm actually convinced that it takes a certain kind of courage to identify so clearly with someone you love. I just don't know if the "Tae" is a good thing for me. I mean, everyone knows me as "Minnie" anyway, so it's not like anyone would care if I dropped the "Tae," right?

I don't know. Am I overthinking this? Leave a comment telling me what you think. Yay or nay to the name change? If I do change it, should it just be MinnieMee, or does someone have something else in mind?

Love,

Minnie

I'd feel like it would be weird if you changed it. Y'know, usernames stick to people. Its not inmature at all, but idk its your decision.

Comes from the girl that also used her bias' name in her username.

I don't think it makes much of a difference. Choose whichever you think is more suitable.

To be honest, I don't really know you as anything because I've only called you minnie like once and the other times I haven't had to xD I understand though, it's why I sort of...hm, not cringe but feel weird when reading certain usernames because I always wonder what they'll do when/if they stop liking the person it's dedicated to, but I guess the case is that they think they never will xD

Do what you think is best :)
