Background : 

Lee Jae Eun was born in Daegu, Korea with her twin brother Jae Hyun to a Chinese family in Korea. Being a twin, she was often seen as a single being with her twin brother and craved individuality. Her mother loved music, and would often play songs on the piano for her beloved children. However, unlike her brother who prefered to play with his toys, Jae Eun inherited her mother's love for music and showed talent for it at a very young age. Seeing her talent in music, her mother has made Jae Eun learn many types of instruments, including the piano, guitar and the violin.

As she grew older, she and her brother discovered the underground dance scene and was entranced by it. At the age of 14, the siblings were known to others as the B-Twins for the breakdancing skills. You would think that her grades would be bad due to her involvement in music and dancing, however although Jae Eun might not be the best at studying, her grades were satisfactory and gave her no problems. 

When she was 15, Jae Eun was scouted on the streets. Although doubting the person scouting her at first (who wouldn't doubt a random stranger claiming to be from SM Entertainment?), she called the agency a few days after discussing with her parents who supported her dream.

She's currently still studying at an art school, but due to her talent in music, she's at her last year.

Personality : 

Jae Eun is the type of person who observes a lot, thus knowing all the little happenings in the group. She'll listen and give you advice when you need it, thus people like to go to her when they have troubles. She might seem ignorant at times, especially when it comes to relationships because of her lack of experience in it. You have to bluntly tell her what you think and not beat around the bush, otherwise she'll simply not get what you're trying to say. She focuses a lot on her composing works and doesn't like it when someone interups her when she's composing. 

She cares a lot for her members and when she composes, she tries to make a song with them in mind. She is the nicest person you'll ever meet, unless you get on her bad side. When Jae Eun is angry, she doesn't show it, and that is what makes her scary. You never know that she's angry util she starts playing pranks on you with help from her best friend Kyuhyun. She doesn't like feeling trapped and would sometimes disappear to the roof to feel free. She's shy when it comes to strangers, but to the people who truly know her, she's the most bubbly person ever.
