Nickname(s): Oksu; He isn't a fan of the name his mother, Bom, gave him naming him after her favorite food. Cornchip, Cornflake, Cornpuff, Corn Boy, Corn on the Cob, etc; anything having to do with corn because Oksusu means corn. Cheeto; Soon calls him this and Cornchip mainly.

Personality:  Oksu is normally very bubbly and happy but he is very honest and can appear harsh  because he is very straightfoward and blunt. Most people think he's gay because he's never seen out with girls and he's very clingy with both girls and guys but no one really knows. He likes to be moving around and being busy and doesn't fancy laziness. He's extremely entergetic, hardly ever sleeping, and always eating something. Oksu is talkative and the only time when he isn't continously talking is when something's wrong. He lives by the philosophy of living life to the fullest and that any obstacle can be overcome. Oksu is very emotional sometimes and hates for people to see him sad, angry, or weak but he loves to help others. He is extremely caring and empathetic. When the other members have problems he always tries to help them solve them and he is almost overly protective of the younger members which comes as a surpise to most people because he appears immature and childish.Oksu is a friend to almost everyone he meets and is completely open with them except he hides when he's hurt, sad, depressed, or angry because he doesn't like weakness so he bottles it all in and is always smiling or laughing and cracking some witty stupid joke. 

Appart from his childish side Oksu is completely obsessed with neatness, cleanliness, and symmetry. He gets stressed when stuff isn't perfectly aligned, straight or mirror images,  gets moody if he doesn't get his daily hot showers, and goes all out mode when stuff isn't kept clean. His mode is intense and sometimes scary but normally he doesn't mean anything mean he says unless he really doesn't like a certain person. 

Concerning his relationship with his mother, Bom, it isn't the best. He holds quite a few grudges against her for various reasons. Those reasons mainly include his name and her having no idea who his father is. He longs to figure out who his father is. 

Oksu won't cry in front of anyone but Soo Hye and she's one of the only people he'll tell anything to and show his true feelings. 

Background:  Not much is known about how Oksu's parents got together, hell he doesn't even know who his father is. But He suspects his mom knows and is just hiding it from him. He also thinks his father knows too but no one off of the list of possible father's his mom keeps has fessed up. Oksu grew up like any other child accept for the fact that he was the bastard child of an idol, yet the world just believed his father was someheroic macho man who died. Anyways, he went to normal schools and recieved the normal standard treatement from the teachers but he was teased by his fellow classmates instead of them all wanting to be friends with him because of his mother being a a famous idol. But it was more so because of the way he acted and everyone because of how neat and smart he was.

So when he started middle school he decided to stop trying all together and eventually dropped out and started practicing the drums and various percussion instraments and spending most of his time with Soo Hye even though she's 5 years younger than him he felt closer to her than any of his other friends. He would take her out and care for her when her parents were away and they formed a stronger bond than they had before. During this time he also got himself into a couple messes with some underground street gangs and got into fights excesivley and would come home late at night covered in cuts and bruises. Eventually, he stopped getting into trouble and straightened himself out  and stayed away from the underground society and began focusing on his studies as he enrolled in online classes. Although he had developed a slight drinking problem that he is still currently trying to resolve.

Oksu got a great start on his classes and got selected out of over 10,000 students to be put into a class of 20 students for advanced computer science. Sadly, he had to start going back to a classroom so he decided to conviently not let anyone know who his parents were and let everyone think he was just some rich families son who owned a big company over in the states. But unfourtunatly on the day he turned 18 Bom kicked him out and he had to drop out of school again in order to get a job and pay his rent. He began free lancing in helping people make websites and fix computers until he got a permanent job at a cafe as a barista and a job at a club during the night which left him with barely any time for him to practice his music and be around his friends. Oksu is still wondering to this day why his mother kicked him out.

Currently, Oksu is living with Tao (yes Tao from EXO). They met when Tao came into the cafe where he works and they formed an instant bond. Oksu wonders why Tao puts up with him and his antics(and all his pets) but they get along vairly well and Tao gets him out of trouble instead of his mother whom he hasn't spoken to or seen since he moved out.

After a year of living with Tao, Oksu began talking to him about his dream of performing and Tao offered to help and get him set up with a company but Oksu refused and bluntly said, "I'll make it on my own with no connections."

Family: Mother | Park Bom |  46 | Bom is adorable, nice, funny, and of course cute. She's sometimes a bit clueless but she gets along with everyone and is very caring like her son. Only problem...she kept a part of her personality hidden from the world. She secretly slept around...a lot. Aside from her innocent adorable looks she had a hidden rebelious sneaky side. | Bom tries to keep in touch and see Oksu regularly but she is often met by him putting up a wall and not wanting to have anything to do with her because of not knowing who his father is. 

Friends: Lee Soo Hye | 13 |  (as stated on application) | Her mother Dara and Bom are best friends so Oksu has known her ever since she was born when he was 5 years old. When he was old enough and both of their parents were busy he would take care of her but he had been playing with her and keeping her occupied since birth because their mothers were together a lot and Oksu went most places with his mom and wound up staying with Dara and Donghae periodically whenever Bom had something she needed to do because he didn't have a father to take care of him. Why they wanted to be an idol: Oksu was tired of not knowing who his father was and being judged because he was the son of an idol without any known father. He wanted to prove his worth and that he wasn't just a bastard child.

Just to clarify something with me having him singing with different people's voices (they are similar though) is that it is possible and normal for people to sound somewhat different when singing and rapping and also when they are doing so in different languages cause it is that way with me.
