Personality: Hye Sun is without a doubt the brightest person that you'll ever meet. Her energy is unlimited and her spirit is endless. She brightens a room with her witty jokes and jumpy personality. She loves smiling and laughter, so be prepared to laugh your head off if you get into a conversation with her. Due to her excessive energy, though, it's extremely hard to calm her down once she gets rallied up. If you upset her, she isn't going to stop. She also doesn't like being proven wrong so she's very stubborn and will stick with her word no matter what you do to prove that she's incorrect. Another things about Hye Sun is that she doesn't like people seeing her sad as she feels it "brings down the mood." She'll hold in her sad emotions and pour them out alone, meaning that she doesn't talk about her problems to anyone. If her mood is brought down, most likely it'll stay that way for a few days and she'll be quiet and distant until she gets over it herself.

Background: Hye Sun grew up in Mokpo, South Korea with her parents. And only her parents. From the day that she was born, she was a playful and lively girl but because she lacked siblings, she had no one to play with growing up. Instead she settled for her next door neighbor's son, Junhong, and they were best friends while growing up. They were interested in the same things (skateboarding, dancing, rapping, etc.) and they made a bet when she was fourteen years old (and Junhong was twelve). "Yah, Junhong-ah, I bet I could become famous one day," Her best friend only laughed.

"You? Famous? It'd never happen; you can't even sing!"

She lidded her eyes as she glared at him, "I don't need to sing, I'm a better rapper than you and I can dance! You can't sing either but you expect to be a star?"

He just smiled and nodded, "I'll be a great rapper, and my stage name is gonna be Zelo and-- Hye Sun, your stage name should Ni Sun!" Junhong said with an excited smile and his best friend only rolled her eyes at the stupid nickname that he often called her.

"What happened to me not being a star?" She laughed, "And even if I was to become an idol, you think I would make that my stage name? Why don't you make you stage name Junnie?" Hye Sun suggested the stupid nickname she had for Junhong.

"I'll tell you what; If you become a star first, then I'll make my stage name Junnie. If I become a star first, then you make your stage name Ni Sun. Deal?"

Hye Sun thought about it for a bit before holding out her hand for a shake, "Deal."

Not long after, Junhong and Hye Sun began taking small dance classes and it was obvious that they were going to become something one day. To Hye Sun's dismay, though, Junhong was signed to TS Entertainment just weeks before her audition for Starship, and the chances of him debuting first were strong in her mind.

How you met: Changjo had asked Niel to accompany him on a movie day with Hye Sun because he was afraid people would get the wrong idea and suspect that the two were dating. Niel didn't know who she was at the time but accepted. When they arrived and saw Hye Sun, Niel immediately became nervous and didn't know what to do. He was never good at speaking with girls, but he couldn't even produce a word at the moment. "Annyeonghaseyo," She suddenly said while bowing and Niel thought his heart was going to jump out of his chest.

How you interact: Niel tries to hint his feelings for Hye Sun but she never sees it. He even went beyond his limits and started doing skinship, but Hye Sun is just clueless. She always seems distracted by something, but he can't put his finger on it. Little did he know that Hye Sun was beginning to develop a crush on Ricky/Jongup.
