She's very forgiving and won't let people be an obstacle for her goals. She's a very free kind of girl, but she's also obedient to what others have to say. She always love the feeling of adventure in her life and face everything with a smile. She absolutely doesn't care about how others judge her. Even the orginization who raised her through her teenage years could not convince her that wolves could always be replaced. She aboely refused to accept that idea and became close to hers. She would never want to see the bad side of things and always try to look for the positive. She's friendly to new people, but she goes by the I treat you by how you treat me rule. Mei Ai is also very innocent, naive, and pure.

 

She is a very fast learner. She has what people would call a "photographic memory". It can be useful as it is painful. She would have to remember everything from the happiest of memories to the most heart-wrenching moments in her life. She would be able to replay memories over and over in her head when some people would have the bliss of being able to forget things. 

 

She could also be very clingy and posessive. She could also be needy due to her older brother always spoiling her. She has a sense of need of comfort and safety from those she's close to. She loves to hug her brother and her wolf especially. She has a fear of being left alone with no one to care for her anymore. She's also very stubborn and is stuck on the idea of others having good morals. There are a few times when her smiles fade and she becomes serious. She will absolutely knock you down if you did or said something bad to her wolf when you don't even understand him. She has an emptiness in her heart in which only the wolf can fill and understand.

 

She likes to seem childish, but she actually understands the cruel reality of things. She doesn't like to let go of her past and continues to hold onto it to help her mature even more. She continues to fake her smiles when mention of vampires and only truly smile around her tamer friends, brother, and wolf. She also enjoys cute things and doesn't like people who judges people before they know them. She's a very hard person to figure out and that makes her seem intriguing to her guys. She also has a hard time with maps and destinations, but she gets there in the end eventually.

 the past can repeat 

history - -

Mei Ai was born as an illegitimate child to a wealthy family. Her father was Korean while her mother was Chinese, hence her name. Her mom was very frail and weak even though she was a tamer and people of the Orginization looked down on her and her father had fallen in love with her even though he was already married [arranged marriage] and was a player who didn't really care for his marriage until he met Mei's mother. Her father was a major CEO of his company and his grandfather was the founder of it. Their family had been part of the Orginization since way back in the old days. Their extended family targeted anything that seemed precious to her father, so he took her mother and her into his custody and "protected" them when he figured out she was pregnant. He locked her away in the house and brought her private tutors after finding out she was a very gifted child, not letting her outside the mansion that resided on a cliff. She grew up with her maids and butlers being by her side and was a very intelligent child who kept to herself. Every time her family had an "imporant" party, she had to participate quietly and she felt as if she was suffocating every time she was at one of those events dressed up like a doll for others just to look at and fake compliment her. It was like the stares of her "family" were trying to murder her. She knew very well why she was treated that way and became a child who hid her tears behind a smiling face. She absolutely hated it and the only person that seemed to care for her was her who was in her new family was her older brother, Jaehyun. He was always there for her and welcomed her with big arms. Even though his mother hated Mei Ai and called her a dirty child, he loved her with his whole being and always protected her. She was showered with lavish items since she was born. Her brother was only 7 years older than her and always tried to hide her from his friends when they decided to come over to play. He doted on her from the very start of her photgraphic memory until she was seperated by him and after. She had built a huge older brother complex for Jaehyun and loves him with all her life as he does with her. Her mother was always in her bedroom and the only time she ever walked outside was to go to the specially made garden with a maze and a lake that her father specifically made for her mother. She always read stories to her precious little daughter and smiled at her kindly. Mei Ai would sometimes cry when she was a child and asked her mother why she was never allowed to go outside and have friends like other children, her mother only held her in her arms and apologized while crying. On a stormy day [including lightning and thunder], Jaehyun's mother couldn't take it anymore  due to the secret brain washing of a vampire and when Mei Ai was 5, she set part of the house on fire, and it killed both her parents. Jaehyun's mother was put into a mental institution and died a year after that incident by suicide. Her brother tbecame a CEO in training with devoted previous workers from their father to help him and he began protecting her in the shadows. She finally was able to leave the house, but not by her ideal circumstances. She was finally free from which she thought was impossible to escape from since she was born and got her tattoo when she immediately turned 18 for that reason. Her brother takes care of her money issues and bought her a penthouse even though she never can use it. She would sometimes go there to relax, but doesn't live there. Despite being a "dirty child", she loved both her parents very much.

 

Mei Ai had always loved to believe in fairytales and a "happily ever after". She loved to believe in the supernatural and enjoyed reading books upon books about it, not knowing her family was up to their ears in the supernatural. After her parent's death, she was DEVASTATED when she had to leave her only family left to be a tamer even though her "fairytale" seemed to be coming true. How could a 5 year old little girl leave the only precious family she had left? After a long month of trying to convince her  by her brother that it was for the better, Mei finally decided to leave, but only if her brother secretly kept in contact with her [either by mail or technology] due to some of her extended family thinking she had died and maybe because of the Orginization. Her dislike for vampires grew along with herself. She was one of the fastest learning tamers, and it caused her to have made a couple of enemies on the way. She was first bullied when she got there because her mother wasn't a very strong tamer, but she was persuasive. They called her mean names, but she would ignore them, stand up, brushed herself off, and smile as if nothing happened with her visible bruises. Her bed would look like this and her room would look like this, but more white. She would have loads and loads of kawaii plushies sprawled all around her room because of her childish side. The reason why her room is so luxurious is due to her brother's backing her up financially. His company is also one that secretly supplies money the Orginization to continue working behind the scenes. She fell in love with her wolf without knowing he's her wolf at first sight, but he says he doesn't notice she was  standing there. Even though he has a cold stare and a sharp tongue, she still loves him without him knowing it.

He rolls his eyes whenever I try to tame or order him and he especially dislike being ordered around by a little girl very much. My wolf is cold towards me and enjoys to make fun of me when others are around us. He still respects me in the end and listen to my orders. I always see him smirk when I get angry or frustrated with him. Even though he teases me, he calms me whenever I get scared of thunderstorms and big fires. We are both very stubborn in our ways and he even wanted me to see him as an object you can throw away at first! I slapped him across his face and even told him that he was worth as much as anyone else is.

She likes guys who are really tall because her brother is 186 cm. She also loves it when men have deep voice because she feels soothed by him. Mei doesn't mind his attitude because anyone can always become better. She absolutely dislikes players because she believes that they have no morals, or that they only pretended they had some to get what they want. She wants someone who is able to handle her neediness and jealousy. It would be nice if her brother accepted him, but this is her brother we're talking about. He has to be able to cherish himself and be filal.

how would you react if someone close to you dies? a stranger?

I'm not proud of it, but I would break down and cry. It would feel as if the world was caving in on me. I can't lose the last few precious things to me, it would kill me. If a stranger died, I'd feel sad for them because as I think about it...how would the people who know this stranger react? Would they care? Would they cry for that person because they cared so much? How much does it hurt?

what are your thoughts about others disliking how close you are with your wolf?

I don't care what they're like. //pouts// I am close to him and he's close to me. Why do we need to care about how other people think of us? It only matters that we have eachother.

are you willing to sacrifice yourself? (do you mind if your character dies in the story?)

I don't mind...I'm just scared about what my wolf would do afterwards... He wouldn't try to kill himself would he? //panics// He definitely shouldn't do that. He doesn't need to do that for my sake...

And Jaehyun...he wouldn't do anything idiotic like try to revenge for me right...?

what do you consider most precious to you?

Even though he has a cold attitude, he has to be the closest person to me for these past 13 or however many years she was assigned to him years; my wolf. As much as I love my older brother, my wolf was there through all those times I needed him.

comments - - The orginization can't really do any harm to Mei Ai since her older brother runs one of the most prosperous businesses in the world and came of old blood who knew of the Orginization way back. Mei Ai doesn't notice that she's beautiful and that guys actually do hit on her. The only guys that are closest are her wolf, Zelo, and her brother.

suggestions - - Besides the scenes, some vampires falling in love with the tamers and perhaps even the wolves? Could her brother visit her sometimes because they come from old/respectable blood?
