Username Change

 

I often see that title in the blog section.

And I am wondering why do people change their usernames?

Isn't that a hassle? For one, my stories and blogs have Keeper all over it. If I change my username - because I can be obsessive compulsive about it, I would probably edit everything.

Ever since EXO's comeback, I have seen several users who incorporated the name of the album, a song from the album, members' names and just anything that is related to EXO in their usernames. Perhaps, for these users, they change it to show their support or to tell other users, that they are fans of EXO.

Others do it as a hobby. Looks like they have lots of karma to spare or have lots of friends to give them karma.

Perhaps, I should ask, how do you come up with your usernames? 

Mine holds meaning and it is hard for me to change it. It is like changing my identity here in AFF. So I don't get why people change their usernames as often as they change their clothes. LOL. I exaggerate but I've seen them.

how i got my username? hm, it's a mix of 'exothermic' and the initials of my name, 'mc'. i realized that if i throw out the 'i', it'll be a mix of my name and one of my favorite words.

(and of course, exo, the group that got me to kpop. i'm a late bloomer haha.)

maybe people change usernames because they changed group bias. It's not relevant anymore.. erhm..because exo appeared and messed up everything. hehe

I think if someone should change usernames it should be people like me so that people can take me seriously. hahaha.. I feel like a fourteen year old with my username. but I don't care. I like it. It grew on me.

in the beg., i was "shineelovah4evah" and i changed it to "kpoplovah4evah" because i started to like other groups more than my shinee babies XD

but i don't think i'd change my name anymore

Mine is so simple. From Hyoyeon and Onew, and since I don't want to appear as HyoNew shipper I use his real name instead, hence hyo_jinki. xD

I like my name lol and though it just came to me, it got stuck in my brain and I kept it

I don't see the whole point of changing usernames.
but maybe they thought of something better? like a more interesting username. :)
