자기소개서 SELF INTRODUCTION

I'm Rita Shao, Chinese-American. I don't like my name, so just call me Riku because of reasons. I'm 16 and currently in

high school. I used to be in choir, but then I quit, so I can't actually sing all that well, and I only recently started rapping

so it's not good, either. I started dancing about three years ago and have had a very small bit of formal training in ballet

and modern styles, but personally prefer hip hop, especially popping. I am fluent in English, can understand Chinese,

and am learning Spanish with plans to learn Japanese in the future. 

Personality-wise, I'm generaly pretty quiet around people I don't know well. I'm not a very impulsive person but I do

speak before I think at times and could probably be more careful. If I want to get something done, though, I'm pretty

devoted most of the time. Even though I'm kind of introverted, I really enjoy working with others.

앞으로의 희망 사항 & 포부 HOPES & DREAMS

 My dream is to become an idol performer. Barring that, I would like to become a back-up dancer or just a dancer in

general. I want to improve my rapping skills and dancing skills, and I would like to perform on a stage with others. I think

that entertainment and performing arts are a really interesting field because it's such an integral part of human life, yet

it's overlooked so much. Media objectifies a lot of things, most of which is often idols and entertainers and such. I think

that that would be an interesting thing to look at, both objectively and subjectively.

Mostly, though, I want to do something I love surrounded by people I love for reasons that are important to me.
