It's just because he doesn't want to trouble them with by with problem. He's someone that not so good at expressing his feeling toward others. For example, he cared about someone but doesn't know how to show his cared toward him/her. 

He's not being called an Ice Prince for nothing. He's as cold as ice. Around stranger, he'll just stay quiet. He's not the type
to starts a conversation. When he is sad or stress, he will go to the practice room and trained his vocal,dance and rap. That's how he rest his mind from all stress. He's a short-tempered. Family Background: Light grew up in the orphaned.He been living there since he was 3.His real mother and father died in a car accident.His real name is Yook MyungJae.Because of his non-talkative attitude, he didn't have any friends at there. When he is 8, he was adopted by a husband and wife who has two kids. Light's last name then been change to 'KIM' after being adopted.His new family treat him really nice like their own child. Light is close with his adoptive brother Kim MyungSoo also known as L who is a member of a boyband called Infinite. Light and L shared same interesting in photographs.

But, Kim MoonSoo who is L's younger brother doesn't like Light. He envy with Light because his parent always treat Light nice. Light once tried to talk to MoonSoo but end up getting a punch given by MoonSoo. MoonSoo and Light are both at the same age so their parents sent them to the same school. At school,Light often get bullied by others student. They said he doesn't have parents,weak and many more.They student knows that from MoonSoo who hate Light for sure. Light is not the type to make thing worst so he just ignored it. He once cried alone in his room whithout anyone noticed.He then decided to take a audition for Woollim and become a trainee. He think it is the best decision since MoonSoo don't need to see him at home again. And MoonSoo can get back his parent love toward him. How you became a trainee and trainee life: By audition. Since he decided to be an idol so his adoptive brother, L, suggest him to take an audition for Woollim which is the same company as L. It's hard. He once think of giving up because he been training for many years and still didn't debut yet. But, L had a talked with him and he decided to not giving up. During his trainee period, he had done many jobs such as modeling for many magazine,brands such as 'High Cut','First Look' and many more. He also make a cameo in 'TaeTiSeo-Twinkle','Shup up flower boy band' drama,'school 2013',4minute-volume up','g.na-black and white' and more before debut.
