Finding Inspiration from my surroundings is a beautiful thing.

The sun blinds me with it’s charismatic gaze. It’s beauty makes harsh spots of it’s brightest rays in my eyes.  Generally people find it annoying when the sun does that. They hate how we can never look at it without being blinded by its power. Why do I appreciate it? Something so normal…in our everyday lives, it welcomes us to the morning. Yet, we don’t thank it. We blame it, we blame it for sparkling against the glass of our windows before we feel ready to wake up. Why are we so selfish? The sun gets itself up every day for our pleasure, it forces it’s way between the misty, grey clouds to find us. To circle halos on our heads…to make our skins glow with it’s kisses.

I want to wake up with the beautiful sun shining down on me everyday. I want it to watch me, I want it to emphasize the sparkle in my eyes. It’s warm, tender touch on my skin is what makes me feel safe. He’s like the sun….the way he smiles…it blinds me like how the sun does. His warm gaze watches over me like the sun, basking me in the feeling. It feels magical. The sparkles in his eyes is in sync with the sparkles in mine. The sun in our faces…it makes me feel beautiful. He’s like the sun…shining bright through my pain, shining bright through my suffering. Giving me the light I need to help me carry on. Pushing his way through clouds to get to me, so I can feel that warm, reassuring touch. He’s my beautiful sun.

"People are like stained - glass windows. They sparkle and shine when the sun is out, but when the darkness sets in, their true beauty is revealed only if there is a light from within."

Elisabeth Kubler-Ross
