Personality:

Yu Jin is someone with a strong character. She can be a little stubborn at times. She is often seen as a strong girl that doesn't have tears. If she is upset, she won't say it but if you are her close friend, you can see that it is all written on her face. She doesn't like being teased, and if she is, she will start blushing, it makes her feel vulnerable. When she is pissed off, she replies with short answers like a simple "Yes" or "No".

 

But if you get to know her a little longer, you would realise that she has soft spots. She has soft spots for stray animals, the people that she cares about like her members and fellow company sunbaes and hoebaes. She really enjoys baking and a way for her to show her love and concern for the people around her would be for her to bake some goodies like cookies and brownies and offer them to her members, sunbaes and hoebaes. 

 

Past/ History:

Her family owns a small bakery in the hearts of Gwangju, South Korea. It was a small business with her mother being the main baker of the shop. Her childhood past time was to help out in the shop during their school breaks with her older sister. She learnt her baking skills from her parents and started loving baking ever since. 

 

No life was perfect, and hers was no exception. When she was 7 years old, her mother passed away from an illness and her father was left to look after the bakery as well as her and her sister. The bakery experienced its tough times and had problems when her mother was no longer there. However, her father used time and effort to work in the bakery to help revive the shop. However, her father then had very little time to take care of her and her sister. Hence, her sister and her grew up very independantly. 

 

She entered SME through the starlight auditions and she got in. However, her father was not pleased with the idea of his daughter choosing such a path. Her sister too felt that the job was too unstable and difficult. She took months to convince them but only her sister gave her the "OK". Her sister then signed her approval and sent Yu Jin off to Seoul.
