~~~Me Saying Random Things #2~~~
OMG this seriously pissed me off!
I saw this comment on 2ne1-Fire on Youtube.
This is what it said-
YG buys all of the awards at MAMA because their artists are so talent less that they couldn't win an award to save their life. If it were a proper award show than Breaking Heart by T-ARA would've won Best Album in 2010 because its easily the greatest album in history instead of Can't Nobody which, even for 2NE1, was absolutely disastrous. If the judges weren't being payed by YG than Abracadabra by BEG would've won best music video instead.
Stupid person are you freakin' kidding me!?!?!? YG artists are amazing and are the most watched k-pop artists. And by most watched, I'm talking about their live performances not their music videos.
Should I list awards they have won and things they have accomplished or what?
In 2009 2ne1 won the "Song of the Year" award with 'I Don't Care' They won their secong "song of the Year' in 2011 with 'I Am the Best'
They have 27 million digital singles sold.
They have 400+ million views on their Youtube channel and 1+ million subs. (BigBang does too.)
Will.I.Am is working with them. (I love the Black Eyed Peas)
"Fire" and "Lollipop" won "Song on the Month" on Cyworld Digital Music Awards.
They won "Asian Newcomer's Award." at the 6th Asian Song Festival.
"I Don't Care" was named 2009's Best Selling Song on music sites Mnet, Bugs, Monkey3, and Cyworld and second in MelOn.
To Anyone achieved an all-kill as all 6 new songs in the album stayed in the Top 10 on various music charts for one week. The album also charted at #1 on the iTunes Hip-hop chart, #7 on Billboard World Albums Chart, #1 on HMV Japan, aside from topping various charts in Korea.
With To Anyone, they won "Artist of the Year" award and the "Album of the Year" award at the 2010 Mnet Asian Music Awards, thus making them the only artist to win all 3 grand awards at the said award ceremony.
2NE1 became the first K-pop artist in history to release and reach five straight "all-kill" singles.
From 2007 to 2008, Big Bang received many awards, including "Best Male Group", "Song of the Year", "Artist of the Year", and the Grand Award at the Seoul Music Awards.
They were voted "the Korean group that Japanese fans wish to see the most".
They became the first foreign group awarded "Best Newcomer" from the Japan Cable Broadcasting Station and "Best New Artist" at MTV Japan.
Representing the Asia-Pacific region, Big Bang emerged as the inaugural "Best Worldwide Act" winner at the 2011 MTV Europe Music Awards in 2011.
With Hot Issue, the group collected numerous awards, including "Best Male Group" and "Song of The Year" from the 2007 Mnet Asian Music Awards.
They later received the "Artist of the Year" award from the 17th Seoul Music Awards.
Haru Haru topped several online charts and held the number 1 position for six consecutive weeks.
Big Bang received their second "Artist of the Year" award from the 2008 Mnet Asian Music Awards with Remember.
GD's Heartbreaker album won "Album of the Year" at the 2009 Mnet Asian Music Awards.
BigBang won Best 5 New Artists award from the 24th Japan Gold Disc Awards, as well as the "Best New Artist" award.
Tonight became the very first K-pop album to reach the Top 10 on US iTunes chart and is the only non-English language album in the Top 100.
Big Bang won the 2011 MTV EMA's "Best Worldwide Act" award as representatives of the Asia-Pacific region with over 58 million votes.
With the release of their Alive album, Big Bang obtained 5 spots out of the Top 10 on Billboard K-pop's Hot 100 and charted at 150 on Billboard 200, making them the first Korean artist with a Korean album to do so.
Lee Hi's "1.2.3.4" reached #1 with the first-week sales of 667,549 downloads.
She's often called Monster Rookie because she has won many awards despite of her young age and little experience.
"1.2.3.4" reached #1 on all the main music charts and was ranked #1 for three weeks.
She also dominated monthly charts.
She has ranked on the top spot 11 times on the hourly real time charts, which set a record for female soloists in 2012.
"Rose" came in at No. 1 just 1 hour after release.
"1.2.3.4" won the "Best Rookie Award" from both the Golden Disks Awards and Seoul Music Awards. It also won "Digital Single of November" on the Goan K-pop Awards.
To make my point simple, they won A LOT of awards and have accomplished many great things. I mean, they achieved so many things that other K-pop artists haven't like 'the first to recieve five all-kils in a row' or 'the first k-pop artist to win 3 grand awards at the Mnet Asian Music Awards'
I'm so proud to be Asian! :D
