→ Izzy is a loud girl most of the time. she's talkative, humorous, and rather cute. her aegyo is one that no one can reject, even though she's not that good at doing aegyo, her already-cute baby face helped her a lot. and matching her face, she is also a childish girl. she likes to cling to her unnies, and she is already like a giant crybaby. she likes to whine and shriek to get what she wants. but hence, she's still an independent girl. she does her own work, and she is capable to do things that most girls in this century wouldn't bother to learn how.

she's cheerful, and can be dorky at times. she likes to cheer people up with her spirited personality. she'll show up in burning spirit every day, and no one can mess with it. she has a good sense of humor, and she often used it as a powerful tool to make other people happy. but she rarely show that on screen, because she would prefer to give her spotlight to other people than to keep it to herself. that's her alright, she's generous to the point that people want to smack her.

→ Izzy was born in Vancouver, Canada. she was born as the second child, but the first daughter to a Chinese-Canadian family. she has a loving mother, a hardworking father, and a cool-on-the-outside-witty-on-the-inside big brother. her family was not really a filthy rich family or something, but they're rich enough to pay for their family's needs. almost all of her family members were discipline, but gentle. her big brother Kris was a lot like their mother, while Izzy was more similar to their father.

since they were little, Kris and Izzy were taught to be people who are trustworthy and can keep secrets. they were taught to not talk about family matters to other people, especially when Kris debuted and the upcoming Izzy's debut, their parents were afraid that there will be bad gossips about the family if they ever talk about the family. since the family has underwent major hardships in their lives, and had been through a list of sad stories. but one that hauted them the most was the fact that Izzy's father had been in prison for a couple of years for being accused for corruption. it was a hard life for the family back then. Kris and Izzy even had to work for their school fees since their mother wasn't working, and it was quite hard even in the days to find a job that can earn a lot. because of that, their parents told both Kris and Izzy to not talk about anything that involved their family, afraid that it would be a powerful threat against the both of them.

their live was a lot easier when their father was proved to be innocent and was discharged from the prison. even better when the two kids entered SM Entertainment and left for Korea, where their expenses and even school fees was paid by SM. their family was happy about their kids achieving their dreams according to their talents and hobbies, and they supported them well, too. and it was such a huge happiness for them when Kris and Izzy debuted.

how did you two meet?: it was when she just came back to Korea after a couple of week of holiday in Canada. at that time her brother has just debuted not too long before. she was asked by her parents to deliver Kris's things that were left in Canada, so she carried Kris's things to his dorm. eventually, the one that opened the door was Tao. she thought that he was Kris at first, because the boxes she carried had covered her face and she couldn't see who or what was in front of her. she yelled at him at first, but realizing that his voice was different, she also realized that the one that opened the door was not her brother. even so, he kindly showed her where Kris's room is, and even helped her carry the load.

how did you two meet?: one time, Xiumin was planning to prank Kris. right then, Izzy walked across and saw him. she immediately realized what he was doing. Xiumin―who also realized who Izzy is―however, thought that Izzy was the type of little sister that will-defend-Kris-even-if-the-world-meets-its-end. but we know that it's not true... even the total opposite. so as Izzy was planning to just walk along and let her brother be pranked by his groupmate, Xiumin thought that she was going to tell Kris that he was trying to prank him. so he pulled the girl's hand and told her to seal her lips. but she giggled at him and said that she likes to prank Kris as well, so even when the one that pranked him is Xiumin, he might thought that it was Izzy's doing.

how did you get into SM?: at first, the one that entered SM is only her brother, Kris. after he got casted, he started blabbering about his talents being recognized by another country's top talent agency. he did that just to and piss her off, not knowing that inside, she's actually a talented girl, too. so when she got really pissed off, she determined to go for SM as well. little Izzy promised herself that time that if she didn't pass the audition, she won't go home. so she took chance to audition for SM Entertainment in Canada, but unfortunately, she got scared and she came off-key. she was sad, and true to her promise, she didn't come home for 2 days. her parents weren't home at the time, so Kris was the one who got worried about her and tried to find her. finally, he found her at her school building. it was holiday season, so no one noticed her there. seeing her brother, Izzy cried and explained about why she did what she did. Kris, being a loving and caring brother he is inside, took her home and instead recorded her singing, and sent it to the management. they were mesmerized and quickly accepted her.

trainee days: since her hobby is actually singing, she kind of enjoyed it. other trainees―especially female trainees―are beyond good to her. the only reason is: they wanted to get close to her handsome brother. that made the friendship they offered became fake and un-sincere. but she didn't mind, and she only laughed at them inside, wondering why they would be friendly with her when the target is her brother. even though there are some that actually liked her and befriended her because of her personality, she enjoyed hanging out with both sides. she took 6 moths of flash Korean course, and mastered Korean more than her brother. after 3 years of deadly training process, she was finally sent to debuting class along with her best friend, Qi Xian Li, to train for their debut.
