personality ¦ Jaeyeon is a very cheerful and fun girl onscreen. She likes to make the audience laugh by adding some funny things to her sentences. She also uses aegyo when speaking. She is a dorky and idiot type of girl once she is out of stage. She does everything crazily and can somehow be a little clumsy by tripping over some stuff. She never gets tired of making people laugh. She also a very polite girl, therefore when she and the members are fooling around and a staff walks by, she would always be the first one to bow. She acts very weirdly in front of the people she is close with or comfortable with. Her personalities are mostly the same wherever she goes, only that she acts way too dorky in front of the people she loves. She had always remembered her mother's motto, which was told when she was small. "Friendships comes when the silence between two people are comfortable." That was the motto.

Her mother is Korean while her father is Australian-Korean. How her mother and father met? She never knew. But whether she knew it or not, she is still a happy that her mother gave birth to her and they are happy that she was born. Her father works as a team leader of a famous comopany in Australia called 'Bluefish Community. Because of his work, It is rarely that he visits Korea. In the school, Jaeyeon was referred to as the number one student. Because Kwangmin was a new student, the teachers had agreed to let Jaeyeon be a student guide for him for at least a week to let him know where the classes are and such. In that one week time, Jaeyeon realised she had developed feelings for him but she knew she no good to him, so she decided to ask him to be her best friend until the right time comes to ask him out.

He had told her that he was mesmerized by her angelic voice, and her dance was just so smooth and clean that he couldn't even compare it with the successful idols that had ever debuted. So by that she was very happy and thought her trainee life has always been one of the best experience in her life.
