Jae Rin is a girl who dislike wearing too girly things like fluffy skirts and all. Jae Rin had a twin brother Im Jae Bum who had a different sir name than her as he took their mother's maiden name. Both of them are the cheeky type. Jae Bum who always had a cheeky grin while Jae Rin will put on a smirk or a playful smile. Both of them had a same taste in clothes, music and all. Jae Rin is a type of girl who won't rely on their parents alot. She only rely on Jae Bum when she is lost or don't know what to do as Jae Bum can feel what she is feeling. She love to pull pranks on people and her twin brother will be her partner in crime.

She is the type of girl who doesn't need anyone to prompt her to do things. She love to learn thus knowing how to speak Korean, English, and Chinese fluently. She also took up composing and writing lyrics from her elder brother Yong Jun Hyung as he told her that what ever you feel you can write down and made some music with it.

〈►Flashback〉

¬ Background: 

Before she became a trainee

She was born in California with her twin brother being older than her by a few minutes. Her family move there when their elder brother Junhyung is about 5 years old. When they were born they gave Jae Rin and JaeBum an English name. When Jae Rin and Jae Bum were 13, they return back to Korea. Even though they learn Korean, they rarely speak so there is a bit of language barrier. When she is in school, she is the cool type of girl and is willing to learn and help anyone. She stood up and help others when they were being bullied. Even though she just transfer to her new school, her classmates help her a lot and they easily become friends. She usually spend her break time in the roof top with a pen in her hand writing lyrics down that shows her feeling. She is always seen to have a headphone around her neck as she talked or walked down the hallway.She made friends with Boys easier than with girls since she has 3 brothers but still she have some close girls friends in school.

She found an underground hip hop club when she is 13 with Jong In a best friend that she had made when she just came to the school and she decided to go there and destressed since someone decided to be funny and mess with her and she has a lot of unhappiness inside her and Jongin knew it and decided to bring her around to make her calm down. When they saw the Underground hip hop club they immediately turn to one another and smirk and speak together "meet you here at 9 alright" they chuckled and immediately ran home and sneak out later on. For a few days they decided to just chilled and enjoyed the music there but slowly they decided to participate in it to vent out all their unwanted feelings. Jae Rin started to rap out all her feelings about how bullies in school should just man up and bully people the same size. Slowly she win competition there, same as JongIn. Sometimes, After school they will book a dance studio as Jongin wanted to practice, Jae Rin will pick up on what he did easily and join him in dancing, thus Jae Rin sometimes Join him in his competition as they dance to many songs which has a lot of skin ship and both of them has the y expression when they dance. They are alright with it as they treat each other like siblings

When she return home, their parents introduced their friends' children to them and she got close to them immediately. Minji and Sungjong is her childhood friend and all had a dream to stand on the same stage. When Jae Rin knew that Minji is a trainee in  YG she was in awe as she congrats her. Thus making them all close as they all like the same music. Her elder brother Junhyung is 18 and is training in a "Ghost Entertainment".

Jae Rin doesn't want to burden her parents finacially she decided to sneak out at night to a underground club to display her talent there. where she found at the age of 13 Jae Rin also had a boyfriend for 2 years ever since she was 14 both of their parents accept them . They love each other alot but when she was 16 they were celebrating for their 2 year anniversary but everthing turn into a tragic event for her. While crossing the road happily, a car was speeding toward her knocking them both,When the ambulance came they found her boyfriend Junyoung beside her hugging and protecting her. When she woke up she asked for Junyoung but they told her to calm down before they mention anything. When they told her she went into a depressing  state throwing anything that is beside her. The doctor had to gave her a injection to calm her down. Even though both of their parent doesn't blame her , she kept blaming herself.Her Brothers was worried for her and don't know what to do. When her twin found out, he immediately called her to make sure she is alright as he did felt something wrong as they called twin connection.He was in America helping his father to teach a group of students to dance so he put his teaching on hold and return back to Korea . He found out that ever since she found out that her boyfriend passed away she didn't cried anymore, she doesn't even show any emotions. The moment Jae Bum hugged her she immediately broke down crying her heart out. Which immediately cause attention from her brothers, Junhyung, Jun Sung and JunYoung's younger brother Junhong. They turned to see Jae Bum hugging and soothing his twin sister from crying. When he finally calm her down, he found that she had fell asleep in his hugged. He tried to lay her on the bed a released her from his hug but couldn't since she is holding tightly onto his shirt, when he tried to remove her hands, Jae Rin started to whimper in her sleep which made him no choice but hugged onto her a sleep beside her. When their parents came and saw the scene they immediately tugged them in and bring the others home.

Her family helped her move on and she slowly got back to training in a few months though many of her trainee friends was still worried she make sure she is okay.Ever since she is 13, she have been sneaking out at night to go the underground dance club where she had found accidentally one day after school, She will sneakily ran out of the house and enjoy herself in there and slowly she started to join in rapping and dancing. Her innocent look draw alot of attention from the guys and some decided to do something to her while walking out of the alley ways, she noticed that she had been follow, so she decided to hide at  a corner and then jump on them and fight them.

She is close with Beast members since her brother introduce her to them they are like her second brothers.

She was scouted during a dance battle in an underground battle with JongIn she was only 13 then, she had been underground for 6 month before being scouted by an SM manager. She was then asked to go to audition the next week. JongIn and her looked at each other and promised each other tomorrow to tell each other their answer. When she return home, she found her brother on her bed staring at her shocking the hell  out of her, She told him what happen and Junhyung asked her to give them a chance, so the next day at school JongIn and her went to the roof top during their break, she called the manager to tell him their answer and  he asked them to go there after school where her brother then sent them there. During the audition, she rap with full of swag and show them her style while rapping and when they asked her if she has any other talent she told them that she can dance and lyric writing so she dance powerfully using her own choreograph routine, and show them the song she compose so from there she was chosen to become a trainee in SM. She  later asked for a transfer to another company since the memory with her ex is giving her too much pain. Trainers and trainees respect her decisions and support her. Her company just asked her to report to the address of her new company and she didn't even bother asking where she is transfer. So when she got there and found out that she transfer to YG she is a bit shock. She auditon for the Ceo of YG, She started rapping to her own lyrics which she write during the break when the Ceo asked her if she had any talents she nodded and started dancing to a choreography that she and her twin brother had made. She also took out her guitar and started singing to a song that she wrote during the break. She also show him the songsthat she had wrote. When the CEO asked her what she wanted to learnt she immediately told him that she wanted to tried acting he slowly got to know more about her and accept her as a trainees.

¬ Trainee life: 

She came for training everyday after school and during the weekends, she met Jun Young who is two years older than her there. When she turn 14 they got into a relationship which both their parents approved of. She know Taemin, sulli and krystal ever since they become a trainee, and they know about their relationship. She had many trainee friends there and many sunbaes love to teach her since she is not afraid of sweating  but when she turn 16, her boyfriend passed away and she stop training for a while.  After a few months later when she got back to train, she couldn't take in the pain anymore. At cube cafe where she was resting after her training, she thought of giving up. Beast who has finish recording their album saw her looking outside of the window thinking.

"Yah! Yong Jae Rin!" Which snapped her out of her thought.

"Oh Oppa Deul" She force a smile which was caught by hyungseung

"What are you thinking?" Junhyung her brother ask which she shook her head and said nothing.

"Lies." Junhyung gave her a look. "What's wrong?"

"I don't know what to do anymore oppa" She starts sobbing "It's hurts everytime i was training, i want to give up but there's something thats making me wanting to continue." Junhyung who saw it hug her trying to comfort her. 

"You know you can always transfer here right." Which she immediately look at her brother and said firmly "No way, i don't want people to say that i got in through relation."

"Hmm like brother like sister. Why don't you ask you company for a transfer. Moreover they know your strength and weakness maybe they can transfer you to a company that can show all your potential." Hyung Seung spoke out as she nodded after hearing what he said. "Araso, i will go home now."

The next day she went to the ceo to ask for a transfer, knowing about the pain she is going through he accept immediately and asked her to go to the address 3 days later. She bade goodbye to her trainee friends as well as her best friends. Both Jong In and Krystal understands her and accept her decision.

"Yah Jaylee make sure i can see you on stage in the future." Krystal made her promise her which she gladly nodded her head and hugged her.

"My partner JaeJae, Make sure you will debut too araso i will wait for you and make sure the whole world know we are dance partner." JongIn joke and hugged her.

"Yeah! Make sure you remember to invite me for your debut showcase." She gave him a look before pulling him for a hug.

When she found out that she got into YG she was extremely shock.

"OH MY FREAKING GOD!" She muttered in English. She was hesistant in walking in when CL and Minzy who was behind her walked in front of her to see her stunned face. Minji who immediately recognised her brought her into a hug.

"Yah! Yong Jae Rin! Jaylee!" Which snapped her out of her trance. "Oh my god, Minji!" She hugged her but Minji pulled away.

"Why are you here? Shouldn't you be training?" Jaylee rubbed her neck and bowed at CL before pulling out a recommendation/transfer letter and pointed out the address to Minzy.

"Well i was told to report here." Minzy then read out the address while CL gave Jaylee a look and said.

"She still don't get it huh?" Which Jaylee just nodded her head and muttered "Yeah ... I don't get it how we are childhood best friend." She chuckled and said. "Let me bring you to the CEO room." She nodded as they leave Minzy still standing there thinking.

"Yah! You got into YG" Finally.. as she ran and catch up to them.

"Are you afraid?" Minzy asked "Because most people who audition through PaPa YG either cry or become distress." CL turned and waited for Jaylee answer.

"Nah~~~ I have to do this for our dream." She held onto her necklace and then smirked "I have my secret weapons with me so i'm not scared, i will go all out!"  She then patted minzy back and said " Live life to the fullest plus life is a climb" She told her motto and abde them goodbye when she walked to the door confidently and knocked.

CL turned to Minzy and said "Her past make her stronger."

"How do you know about her sad past?" Minzy gave her a look while CL was shock, and found out about her late boyfriend.

After being accept she got train in writing lyrics, choreographing and rapping, she continued to make dance cover whenever she could with her trainee friends since she got along with people easily.
