according to @my_memory_leesm sungmin pulled a ligament.

other than that no further news and explanations were held but for those who are asking, i may answer that sungmin has a sprained ankle.

you may pulled/tear a ligament on your knee/wrist or ankle but the way that the cast was wrapped around sungmin’s leg it extended from his toes to his lower knee so it must have been in his ankle that the ligament was teared.

a sprained ankle occurs when when a person lands from jumping or running on to an uneven surface.

fans who were outside the SM building yesterday(130525) said it was because of the dance practice and other assumed it was from his new found hobby …but whatever it is sungmin was injured.

if it is a sprained ankle, it is only a moderate sprain. because mild sprain would only require ice pack and rest while severe sprain needed surgery and as for moderately sprained , the patient needs crutches for a week/days, so painful but can still manage to take a few steps.

it maybe not be the very reason behind sungmin’s injury but at least we could have a clue for it.
