Childhood Love

So, kids, my topic for today would have to be Childhood Love.

To start us off, let me explain what had prompted me to talk about such a topic. On Wednesday, I was doing some volunteering in a Primary School and was placed in my usual year 2 class (or at least I think they were year 2 … heh….) Anyway, I was sitting in one of their mini chairs, listening to the teacher talking to the kids. It was all calm and all, then the teachers booms out – “There is no need for you two to be holding hands. You, sit here, away from her.” (Paraphrasing, of course)

My friend and I looked at each other and just started giggling like little girls. It was so cute to see both kids just hanging their heads low in embarrassment; cheekily glancing at each other through the corner of their eyes. Adorable beyond compare.

Yes. I ship little kids with each other. Normal? I think not.

I guess I understand the reason as to why the teacher had to move both students. But if I were in her position, I would just think it cute and maybe take a snapshot of two. (Then again, I guess that's why I can't be a teacher.)

Now, for a personal story.

I HAVE NONE.

None.

Nada.

Zilch.

Yeah… I led a sad, sheltered life in an all-girls school. When I moved, I got called fat and said that they wouldn’t even consider me pretty. Affected me for some time, then I realised; I love food a lot more than those little pieces of crap. So I moved on and crossed the bridge.

Moral of the story? Walk over that bridge, the exercise will make you healthier.

(I guess I got a little side-tracked… How about you guys? Care to share some childhood love stories? ^^)
