Personality:

Although being the oldest (as compared to others) everywhere; in school, at home, at the company, JaGyung's personality makes her lovable and seem rather young and naive. JaGyung is an active and bubbly girl, with tough and rigid sides. She is very open-minded and open-hearted, however sometimes tends to be stubborn and only stick to her ideas. She dislikes, or rather, hates fakes, anyone who have different faces for different people. She loves people who do not try to show themselves off too much, but stays loyal and in a way depends on her. She tolerates emotions very well, and grows silent when she is rather angry or a little distracted, so she does not release her emotions in a bad way. JaGyung is very athletic, and likes doing conditioning work and running long distances. However she eats rather more than an average person does, thus even though she is very slim and good in shape, she never gets the six pack abs she dreams of. JaGyung is very skilled artistically and in language, however she hates going further that language into literature. She dislikes many school subjects but never fails to try hard to succeed in it. She definitely loves math and music besides art, language, and PE. JaGyung is ironically a perfectionist, and since she used to have so little time to do everything, she does her work quick yet thinking speedily at the same time of the requirements of hers. JaGyung cares little about how she looks like, she just likes it enough when she is presentable. JaGyung is also very positive, and likes to listen to others' worries and problems to solve them out.

JaGyung never tries to be cool like the oldest, neither would she use aegyo. She would always be herself, and release her happiness to her will. Since she had a bitter childhood, JaGyung does not like one who is wasteful, vain, fake, and hard-minded (although she is a little). She does not like it when one cheats, she hates that the most, dishonesty.

Background:

JaGyung's family seemed like a normal family of elsewhere from the outside, however, in her family, there were many arguments. JaGyung's father had a very good job, however he was very arrogant and thought highly of himself, never bothering to listen to the others. This was partially the cause of the stress of JaGyung's mother. JaGyung's mother disliked the father, and would regret of marrying, however would not divorce for, without him they would not have this good rather wealthy life for the mother had little skills. JaGyung, as she grew older, looked like her father more and more, and never looked like her mother. Rather, she looked like her maternal grandmother, whom her mother regretted on being her daughter, and thus her mother started to dislike her for just her looks. Affections for JaGyung, the oldest daughter, slowly shifted to MiRi, the younger sister of hers, whom JaGyung adored and cared for. At first she showed jealousy, avoiding MiRi, however soon after figuring out that MiRi did not like how her mother cared about her so much, they joined partnerships to help each other. Although they fought a lot, they still stood and cared for each other.

Meanwhile JaGyung's mother treated JaGyung very badly. She would make her skip her meals, tell her everyday that she was a mistake and was not wanted. JaGyung was so hurt she tried calling her grandmother a few times for help, however each time her grandmother reprimanded her mother, the words and hits on her got harsher. On a every basis insulted and bruised, JaGyung's heart was aching everyday. She had fought back, yes, but her heart was too sympathetic to bruise the mother much. She even fractured her mother's finger once, and then would not fight back for a while for guilt doomed over her. She could not have survived possibly, without the hope called 'friends' whom she cared just like part of her family. She felt as though her friends were more like a family, loving and caring for each other. JaGyung's father would go on vacations more often seeing the mother yelling at JaGyung, and thus was absent at the house most of the time, and if he was in the house, he would be in his room watching television. JaGyung grew up in such a family, and in the tight and horrible situation, she learnt to live for herself, making her own values straight, trying her best to not become like her parents. She worked well, starting off as a helper translator while she had time between school works, as she took a part-time job at an airport's department store. When she was 21, she was scouted by a SM staff who bought some necessities in her store.

Reason of Rivalry:

BoA is older, way older than JaGyung. She had been in SM entertainment forever, known as one of the most talented singers. However when JaGyung entered, and when she saw that she was not the only fluent English and language speaker, and thus seeing more attention going to her, even her secret admirer, JunSu (JYJ), she figured she would have to punish JaGyung.

BoA made many horrible rumors about JaGyung when she was a trainee, stating she was a big flirt who flirted with a SM staff to get into SM. This made JaGyung very hurt, staying in her dorm without coming out for a week for she cyber and word bullying was her weak spot, until JongUp finally comforted her to fight it. She also tried to make her sick and damaged, putting nuts (which JaGyung is allergic to) in her lunch, and even pushing her down the dorm stairs. However JaGyung landed into BoA's manager, who fell for her, which caused BoA to be more angry. Still BoA's threats to JaGyung continues.

Trainee Life:

As a hardworking child, JaGyung worked hard in her trainee life. She knew she was not a dancer, thus she would visit the dance rooms extra hours everyday, even after everyone's classes was over, to dance and practice. In her dorm she would exercise for she liked to, which made her body much fit. Even though she was in trainee, and as a trainee one's goal was to get skinny, she did not decrease her diet, or rather, she increased her exercising rate, for she did not like depression from little diets.

JaGyung was teased at times for jealousy, for JaGyung was very polite, which made teachers and trainees like her. Despite the little teases (and the bullying from BoA), she continued working hard, for her motto was to live for herself. She became best friends with JeeHae in the dorm as a trainee. Also to fulfill her dream that she would be a translator one day, she continued studying hard during the little time she had between classes.

How you met :

LeeTeuk and JaGyung met when JaGyung first went into SM Entertainment. LeeTeuk, when figured out that a new trainee from Japan was here, he was curious of her for he wanted to know more of Japan. He visited her dorm, and got close to her, and one day, he heard her hum as they were having a jog together, realizing her potential in singing. He decided to form vocalist partnerships with her. Currently he is at the army, but when he is back, the Super Junior manager is planning of having them both do a duet.

How You Met :

JaGyung and G.O knew each other since they were little, for their mothers were good friends. Often times they would see each other in either Japan or Korea when one or the other went for a vacation. However as he grew older, G.O realized that no matter how much JaGyung cried, her mother would never come for her or even scold G.O, or rather, throw JaGyung a dirty look. G.O slowly started to realize the family problem in JaGyung's family, and decided to help her out, being one of the best guy friends she had, next to JongUp. He was scouted into TYKEYS, however shortly after resigned himself into J.Tune Entertainment. He encouraged JaGyung to audition for their company but she would not, and G.O thinks JaGyung auditioned for TS Entertainment for their standards are lower (according to G.O).
