"Happy birthday."

She turned around in surprise and slowly, a shy smile graced her lips. Never in her life has she expected him to remember her birthday.

"H-How did you know?"

"It's on the class notice board." He stated matter-of-factly.

She nodded and wondered if she should leave because the silence following his words was killing her. Even if it didn't show on her face, her heart was exploding, her blood was rushing to her face too quickly and she felt light-headed. However, she stayed put because it wasn't everyday whereby she could stand before the school's heart throb. He is everybody's heart prince, after all.

"Want to eat lunch with me?"

Her eyes widened in a way no humans can manage. And her words got stuck in . She merely stared at him.

"I am sorry but I don't accept rejections." He said with a smirk before taking her hand.

For the rest of the day, she didn't know what was going on. She didn't know what she was doing. She didn't even know what they said.

She only knew he was with her and it's the best birthday ever.
